I think that the individual paks are great. No mess and even my Mom can handle feeding my two dogs. I have two Bichon's and on needs to lose a few lbs so this is perfect. No reason to over feed now.

I started my 9 year old dog on this after her skin, and coat began to go way downhill this year. She was always itchy and her coat was dull. I had her on Beneful and started hearing the same issues from other users. After the first month of being on Livesmart, her coat was shinier and she was much less itchy. It seems to be helping her joints as well, she is more energetic and doesn't drag herself onto the couch anymore. I was also happy how easy it was to switch to. She has a very sensitive digestive system and had zero issues. Thank you for helping my girl be comfortable again.

You can actually see, just by looking, that our 3 dogs are healthy. People comment on it all the time. Their coats are shiny, teeth are clean, hearts are healthy. Our vet was surprised that all three senior dogs are in such good health, good weight and good spirits. Even though the economy is pretty tight, I will always make sure my animals get the best I can get for them. Chicken & Rice Senior from Smart Pak.

We have a 9 yr old German Shepherd that was starting to show his age. We were feeding him Beneful, which is supposed to be a really good dog food but Griffin was having allergies in his eyes, which the vet said she thought was from grass but we had no grass where he was. His eyes always seemed to look tired and he had no energy. He had also started to have a bit of a problem getting up from a prone position due to his hips. The vet said he didn't have dysplacia...he was just getting old. Well, he's been on the LiveSmart Chicken & Brown Rice Senior Dog Formula for about 3 weeks now and we can't believe the difference! He's running (truly running!) around and very playful. The eye allergies (matting, draining, etc.) are completely gone, his coat is soft and beautiful, and the shedding is now at a minimum (GSDs shed all year long but it used to be in massive amounts)...he's like his young self again! We will never change from this dog food unless they stop making it (but please don't!).

Decided to give this food a try since nothing was working for my dog's itchy coat. It did the trick and our 13 & 1/2 y.o. Lady gobbles it up every time. No fuss - no waste.

I'm very sad as my 11 yr old Germ Shep/Italian Maremma won't eat the senior food. I gave him the trial bags and he ate them up right away so I ordered a regular shipment and he has since turned his nose up...to the point I had to feed him the food he had eaten 95% of his life (Nutro Large Breed Adult). Only reason I switched from Nutro was ease of SmartPaks delivery. This may just be that Bear is picky as he also won't eat Iams, Eukanuba, Purina nor Pedigree.

All of my dogs love this food -- nothing goes to waste. The only problem with that is that I like to leave their dry food as free choice for them to eat over the course of the day while I'm at work, but they tend to eat this as soon as I put it down no matter how much I fill up their bowls, which wouldn't be good for their weight, so I actually have to measure out and watch how much they get. I never had to do that with their other food since they would "push away from the table" readily and only take some bites when they were actually hungry.

My senior dog flatly refuses to eat this kibble. Even the younger male dog who rarely turns up at his nose at ANYTHING will not eat it. I don't know what it is about this formulation, but it is just not working.

My dogs have always had to have a diet of lamb and rice or a chicken and rice formula. They throw up all others. I've tried Iams, Science Diet and even the cheaper ones. It would work out for awhile then they would start throwing up for some reason (the vet could never figure out why). Since being on Smart Pak formula they havent thrown up once, their stools are more formed and even colored. They love the taste. THANK YOU!!!

I love this food. I have a Jack Russell that has been on this food and she used to leave a half-a-dog all over the couch where she slept. Since she's been on this food, I can barely find a hair. She looks fabulous to boot!

The Beagle really seems to like this food and I have noticed shed less and have more energy and we are only a few paks in, can't wait to see what she will look like in a few weeks! Great value for a very palatable feed. Now all we need is a dental formula but in the mean time I highly recommend this food for your aging partner!

I felt very good about offering my dog this quality dog food. She liked it in the beginning and then did not seem to like all that much. We had to trick her into eating it by mixing dog treats in every meal. She would pick the treats out first and then eat the rest. I felt I needed less food to keep the same weight on her. Usually I feed 3 cups, but with this food 2.5 cups was better. For a while I though she was just not that hungry, but she was excited about other food. Unfortunately I had to stop feeding it, because she simply did not like it. She likes junk food. What can you say ...

Our 12-year-old Corgi acted like an old dog until I tried the Smart Pak Senior Food. His skin cleared up and he runs around like a young dog again with no supplements needed. I would definitely recommend this food to any senior dog owner.

When my setter and great Pyrenees crossed over to their senior years, it was a natural decision to switch from LiveSmart Adult to LiveSmart Senior. They are just as healthy and happy and thriving on this food; my setter actually has as much energy as in her puppy years. We credit LiveSmart with keeping her and our Pyrenees energetic and their joints fluid. Having it prepackaged and shipped gives added convenience and is cost-effective: any family member can serve their proper portion so money isn't spent on overfeeding, and with the price of gas one less trip to the pet store really adds up. Travelling with them has become easier too, as we can pack their portions instead of the heavy bags that inevitably spill.

I think Smart Pak is the best senior food on the market. Our dog, who is now 12 going on 13 years,does so much better on Smart Pak than any of the high-priced premium foods. Also with Smart Pak we have been able to discontinue all of the supplements that we used to give him. His coat is shiny and he acts like a young dog again!

I like the packaging, it doesn't get stale, it is very portable and my dog sitter knows exactly how much to give the dogs each day.
My groomer says she can tell a real improvement in my dogs skin, less dry and less sensitive since starting on Smartpak.
Ease of ordering, adjusting the delivery date or location could not be easier.

I have two large dogs and the process of measuring out their food twice a day was a little inconvenient. I love the individual packs and knowing they are getting exactly the right amount of food. The food is extremely fresh and my two boys love it! The individual packs are a great value and you can't beat the shipping charge. Customer service has been absolutely awesome when I have called in with questions or changes I needed. They are extremely pleasant, it's very hard to receive good customer service these days but they really are the best! Thank you for all you do and for your help. I am extremely satisfied with this product.
