"At first I thought it was a little pricey when I wash my brushes in microtek shampoo and they come out fine. But, once I realized how easy to use it is and how amazingly clean the brushes were, I was sold. I would recommend this to anyone who is as OCD about cleanliness as I am- well worth the money."

"These little gems had my brushes sparkling! I always get annoyed by the film left by bleach products and worried about their harshness. These effervescing cleansers do all the hard work and leave no trace on your brushes. My curries, stiff brushes, soft brushes and hoofpicks have never been so clean. Following the directions on the packet, I even used them on my nice wooden-handled brushes!"

"I have two different set of brushes that I use, one on a daily basis and the other when we haul (shows, clinics, etc.), the brushes I use every day were EXTREMELY dirty and were in desperate need of being cleaned and it was about time for the other set to be cleaned as well. I decided to go ahead and wash each set together and one pack a set was all it took to remove every last bit of grime, grit, and dirt from the deepest nook and cranny on all of my brushes. The only problem that I had with this product is the slight odor it gave off when you first pour it into the warm water. Other than that I LOVE this product and will be sure to keep it on hand from now on!"

"With a dozen dirty brushes (from course to finishing face and mane & tail brushes) and no time to spare, I merely filled a bucket with warm water and dumped two packets of the brush cleaner into the water, gave it a quick stir and went about my other chores. After 10 minutes, I was amazed at how the dirt and funk was off of ALL brushes. After rinsing and letting them dry, I discovered there's no dust left in the brushes and even the build up on the base of the mane and tail brushes is gone. I'm totally impressed."

"This is the best way I've found to clean brushes in three decades of riding. I have some brushes that are almost 30 years old, and Brush Therapy leaves them clean down to the backing and looking brand new. They smell fresh. I just wish SmartPak would list this product under its trade name instead of just "brush cleaner." I would have purchased it sooner! And it was a very nice surprise to find out that it's shipped in sets of two--not one as I'd thought. Bonus!"

"I have used these packets to clean my brushes about once a year or so. They are easy to use and work great. Taking care of my Hill Salmon brushes has helped them to last a very long time. Some of mine are well over ten years old. Cleaning them, and then drying them properly (bristles down) makes them look like new again! It is hard to rate durability, since this is a single use product. But I gave it five stars since it extends the durability of my brushes."

"I first received one of these as a Christmas stocking gift. I finally got around to using it and was amazed at the results! It was so easy to do - just drop in a bucket of water and let it sizzle, then drop in the brushes and let them soak. It removed ALL the hair and grime from months and months of grooming. "I have a few beautiful wooden brushes that I've used for 10+ years... I always just rinsed them out, no soap, so the dirt had really built up. "I have always hated cleaning brushes. I would put it off for years because of the hassel it always caused. With the brush cleaner it literally took ten minutes to fill a bucket with warm water, pop my brushes in, and let the cleaner do the job for me. My brushes came out perfectly clean. I love that it comes in packets of two, although one packet had a small opening in it and was pouring out slowly.
