"The SmartPink thinsulate turnout blanket is true to size and fits like a glove! I love the way that it fits around the neck perfectly so that there is no wind drafts. The length of the sides is perfect to keep the cold air, rain, and snow out during the bad weather. It is extremely durable and easy to fit to your horse. It is the perfect fill to be worn in the barn on the colder nights and it is also able to put under another blanket for when they are outside on the colder days. It is breathable and does not heat up to much when double blanketed. It is really easy to clean and made out of great material. The style and fit of the blanket is wonderful and it is a great color."

"I first bought this blanket for my mare in the fall, and I loved it so much that I replaced my gelding's blanket just before that awful cold snap in early January. I was hesitant to spend the extra money on a good blanket for my gelding because he has a way of tearing apart everything.

He wore his new blanket every night for a couple of weeks and didn't manage to do any damage at all. I think that I've finally found a blanket that he likes (or maybe that he can't tear up??).

As with the first one I bought for my mare, my horses are warm underneath the blanket. My gelding is 16.1, and putting it over him is easy because it is lightweight. I went to a friend's barn a few weeks ago and had to move one of her blankets out of the way and was reminded how heavy traditional blankets are. Those days are over for me!!

I will never own anything but thinsulate blankets going forward!

"I loved the style of this blanket and mare already had the matching halter. I read reviews and crossed my fingers. I ordered a size smaller as suggested, and fits my arabian mare perfect!!! Not only that, but really easy to care for and keeps my old girl nice and and warm. I'm soo glad I took the leap and choose this blanket over my usually sch***** brand."

"I bought this blanket on sale about 6 weeks ago. I was hesitant about the thinsulate since I have never had a blanket that utilizes this material. Since I despise bulky blankets (my horses are already bulky), I decided to give it a try. I couldn't be happier with this purchase! The blanket fits well, even on my 3/4 draft mare, and it feels silky and wonderful on the inside, tough and durable on the outside. Straps and buckles are high quality. My horses are turned out daily on 45 acres and they are hard on blankets, but this one looks like it will wear well. My favorite aspect of this blanket is that it never shifts! My Weatherbeetas need to be re-adjusted daily, this one never does! I bought the same size I usually buy, figuring that if this runs large, it would be just right for my chunky, muscled draft-crosses. That proved to be a good gamble. BUY THIS!!"

"I am generally a Rambo only person for turnout blankets. My gelding needed a new mid-weight and I thought the SmartBlue plaid was cute, so I decided to go for it. I LOVE this blanket. It fit my horse beautifully. The fabric seems extremely durable. I wish my mare needed a new blanket so I would have an excuse to buy her the pink one!!!"

"This blanket has so much more going for it than most blankets. It is relatively light-weight, so your horse's natural fluff doesn't get pressed down. Thinsulate is great stuff. My guy had to stand outside for hours in the rain and wind, with the temperature hovering about 36 degrees. This blanket kept him warm, completely dry and comfortable. The plaid is totally classy-looking, and the overall quality of the fit, seams, buckles, etc. is excellent."

"This is a well-made, well-fitting blanket. I especially like that it's not heavy or bulky to put on because of the thinsulate but yet keeps my mare warm. The snaps are all high quality. Although the blanket was a bit expensive, it appears that it will last for several years."

"I have a terrible time buying blankets (and other products) for my hard to fit large pony. He is very stocky, with big shoulders, but 14.1 hands. His hindquarters are more pony sized....
This is a wonderful blanket, great materials, a nice weight for the deep south, but still somewhat snug around the shoulders and chest. So far, it is not rubbing him, I think the deep shoulder gussets are a big help. Overall, a very nice product.

"I recently purchased this blanket for its outstanding price. I think the quality and durability for the price is great but didn't like the fit at the neck. I felt it was up too high and was diffiuclt for him to lower his neck to graze, drink, ec. I also thought the color was a little too light and would get very dirty."

"Yet another smart blue item to add to my collection! This turnout fits great and seems to be quite warm. My horse is out 24/7 and must wear clothes sometimes, even in Texas. I didn't rate the durability as I just got it a month or so ago. The hardware is good quality and the fit is safe. I have 2 of the saddle pads and they have held up great. I like the fact that all these items can be hosed off and they dry quickly. I would surely recommend it! I would like it if they made a closed front model, but that is rare in a true turnout."

"This is the second turnout that Ive bought and I love the thinsulate material!! Its cozy warm and yet so lightweight!!! The material is beautiful and the straps are super sturdy. I love how the back leg straps are stretchy enough that they dont rub at all! Clifford loves his pink blanket and I love that the Kensington halters match it!!!"

"We got the Smartblue blanket. It's really pretty on our large white pony. We stuck with her normal blanket size and it fits her very well, so while it may run a little large, we did not need to get a size smaller. It's a beautiful blanket and looks very well made. It's brand new to us though, so we can't yet comment on durability."

"I purchsed this blanket last year and thought it was wonderful. It is so light weight and easy to handle but at the same time keeping my horse very warm. With it being pink I was afraid it would never come clean...well I hosed it off to get rid of all the lose dirt and put in washer came out good as new. Can't wait for it to turn cold love to see my horse in her beautiful blanket and know how toasty warm she stays. The blanket also held up very very well no tears or rips, straps also still look new. I have a new very expensive blanket that I purchased for my gelding thinking now about selling it and getting the blue one for him. I couldn't be more pleased with this product. Oh, and the other thing is when mud and dirt builds up on the outside, just take a brush and wipe right off."

"I have not had this blanket long enough to see if it stands the test of time, but I was very happy with the quality for the price. The hardware is upgrade quality and there are reinforcements at stress areas. Also nice touches that are usually found on more expensive blankets. I am planning on buying another one for my other horse."
