Equissentials Icelandic Jod
Go from straight leg to flare in one simple zip! These great jods zip up for a snug fit while you ride, and unzip for a casual flared bottom when you're hanging out around the barn. Hidden gusset and closed with a heavy duty chrome zipper. Elastic stirrup is attached high on the calf and can be worn inside OR outside your boots.Made in U.S.A.

"I first saw these on another rider at a dressage clinic years ago, and she was riding with the lower leg zipper open in the boot-cut mode. They looked so cool that I had to have a pair for myself. They are great for the winter, and I got another pair of the endurance seat jods recently--lighter fabric--to wear at a clinic this spring. I was ecstatic that I can get the Equissentials jods here at a price $65 less than at the Equissentials site b/c they charge for sales tax and shipping, but here you pay nothing for that. Plus, the jods are $30 less here to start with than at the Equissentials site. I love it!"

"These are by far my favorite breeches. I've had them for 3 years, and they are still in top shape. I have the terry material, and they're too warm for summer - but they're perfect for fall and winter riding. As they are boot-cut and a looser fit on the lower leg: they are best for flat work or trail riding. I jumped in them once, and got some major rubbing on my lower calf. They are still my favorites, and are the only pair of breeches I own that I actually feel good in - they are quite flattering!"

"These are the most comfortable breeches I've ever worn. They're even more comfortable than jeans, so they make hanging out in riding apparel actually pleasant! I was pretty skeptical about getting them, especially at this price. FITS were the better of my breeches, but these are soooo much nicer. The quality is unbeatable, and the boot-cut on these works over heavy winter boots or regular boots since the zipper customizes the leg fit. By far the best and highest quality breeches I've ever worn. Thanks Smartpak for finding the good stuff!"

"I was a bit skeptical of the price of these pants, but decided to give them a try. They are amazing! Very comfortable and the deerskin patch really keeps you stuck to your saddle. I am going to get another pair to use while the one is being washed."
