"No matter how much hay, pasture and grain my driving horse was getting, he was losing weight and muscle mass to the point of no return. My vet ran a multitude of tests and determined that he has equine motor neuron disease (EMND). Shocking and hard to fathom as feed very good hay and he has access to what we believe are quality pastures, also none of the other horses have had weight or muscle loss. We tried feeding the supplement the vet recommended, a natural vitamin E oil, he would not touch it. After researching I began feeding SmartE natural giving 7,500 IU's daily, he has gain 52 lbs in 6 weeks! He looks so much better and is playing in the pasture again, amazing! I will continue him on SmartE Natural, and look forward to the day when we can go driving again. Only wish this came in pellet form, sometimes it takes forever for him to finish his grain."

"I too have a horse with PSSM, so I needed to provide him with Vitamin E to scavenge all the free radicals created by the extra fat I was giving him for his muscle condition. Apparently natural vitamin E (d-tocopherol) is nearly completely bioavailable to the horse, while only 12% of synthetic vitamin E can be absorbed and utilized, so SmartE was the obvious choice for me. And, even though Vitamin E is a fat-soluble vitamin, no study has ever shown toxicity in the horse, so I don't have to worry that I'm getting too much into him. I was concerned that he wouldn't eat it, because he's a very picky eater, but he gobbles it right up!"
