Novox® Caplets
Novox? is a branded generic form of carprofen; the brand name form of carprofen is Rimadyl. This non-narcotic, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medication is used to treat pain and inflammation in dogs. Carprofen has been shown to be clinically effective for relieving signs associated with osteoarthritis and other joint abnormalities, including hip dysplasia, in dogs. Scored caplets are easy to break apart to give the exact dose your pet needs. 25 mg, 75 mg, or 100 mg in 60 ct or 180 ct bottles.

"Our aging Shih Tzu has been taking Novox for years. We noticed an almosts immediate benefit for her. When our Australian Shepard, who is also a certified therapy dog, began having hesitating before jumping into and out of the truck for trips to the farm, we asked our veterinarian to prescribe Novox for him. He's back to his old self and ready to make a trip anytime now. No side effects and an immediate benefit for the older dog having trouble getting around."

"I have used another form of generic Rimadyl before, but when I changed vets they did not carry anything but the name brand. So I ordered this generic from SmartPak and am very happy with the product and the service. They were very helpful over the phone, and the price of the meds were the cheapest I've found anywhere."

"I called to get a refill on this medication for my lab. Well about 2 days later she passed away. When I called Smartpak to see if they could stop the shipment they could not. They did however refund my purchase and I have donated the medication to an animal rescue. The level of compassion and customer service will make me come back to Smartpak for all of my horse and dog needs."

"i purchase these novox caps either monthly or every 3 months depending on the vmd script...they work just as well as the name brand and poor tofu hobbles a whole lot more without them!!... i also purchase denosyl for maddie..cost is slightly less then the vets office!!"

"Novox is a generic version of Rimadyl, and comes in a pill form. This is not a problem for my dog at all, I place each pill in either a Greenies Pill Pocket or a piece of cheese, and she gobbles it down. My dog is a Yellow Labrador named Lindsey who was diagnosed with severe arthritis in both elbow joints when she was five. Now seven, she has responded extremely well to Novox, and plays endless games of Chuck-It, swims, walks an hour and a half each day, and is generally a very healthy, athletic dog. Without Novox, Lindsey is literally unable to walk without hobbling, let alone fetch a ball or swim. I would highly recommend this product to anyone with a dog that has arthritic changes in its joints that affect its quality of life."

"If you use Rimadyl, this product is exactly the same except for the price. I could not afford to care for my dog if it wasn't for generics. I want my dog to be happy and I would do anything for him. But why waste my money? Now I can buy him more treats with the money we save."
