"I should've taken more stock in the reviews. These leathers are terrible. Maybe I misunderstood, but I take "nylon-lined" to mean a nylon core. These just have nylon sewn to the back. I should have spent $20 extra and gotten the M. Toulouse leathers from the start. Returning these ASAP!"

"These leathers came out of the box and looked nice, felt nice, and seemed fairly solid. I have owned them now for almost a year and I am already prepared to buy a new pair of leathers. Within the first 6 months the leather where the stirrups rest was cracking and I could tell they were stretching because I had to go up a hole for jumping. Sadly I have run out of holes to go short enough for cross country due to stretching so I have to roll the leathers to get the stirrups short enough. I have tried to punch holes in them, but with the nylon reinforcement it's pretty much impossible. Next time I will pay the money to get quality stirrup leathers rather than trying to save a few bucks. I own a lot of Collegiate brand items and have never had any issues, but they failed with this product."

"I have had these leathers since the fall of 2009 and they have stretched out quite a bit and the leather was cracking after only owning them a little over two months. For the price paid and the company that made them, I expected a lot more. Could be good back up leathers, but I won't buy these again."
