"This bit is my best friend - I always struggled going cross-country, and the gag keeps my horse up and listening without a giant tug-of-war. My mare likes to chew on the rubber, so I'll have to replace the bit sooner rather than later, but she's happy and I have control, so it's a win-win for me!"
