"I had a show gelding who didn't slick off very quick this spring and he was alitte thin. I started adding Smartshine and this product to his daily feedings. Within 1 1/2 months there is definitely a huge difference. He still needs to gain alittle more weight but he is well on his way to looking great."

"Excellent product. Moved my horse from NY to NC and the change made him lose a lot of weight. He is a Thoroughbred so always on the lean side. Within 6 weeks of using Smartgain there was a huge difference. He has filled in on all the sunken spots."

"Ordered Smartgain 4 for senior horse (30) who was losing weight no matter how much supplements I fed. Horse could normally only eat leaves from hay and not stems. Was feeding pounds and pounds of beet pulp and alfalfa pellets to supplement with less than desirable results. Started using product once a day with 2 pounds of grain in addition to normal alfalfa hay ration and it has stopped the fast weight loss and is slowly putting some weight back on. Horse digests feed much more efficiently as is evidenced in daily stall mucking. Smartgain 4 is worth a try for any hard keeper, especially senior horse."

"After trying CocoSoya, it was recommended I try this product. I have five horses, two of which NEVER gain weight and have been checked multiple times by vets to see if there is a health problem - nothing has been found. I have tried many supplements and different types and brands of food but they don't gain weight. They seem healthy but just look like they could use some "groceries". Unfortunately Smart Gain did nothing for them."

"I saw no change after a month of using SmartGain. Granted that's not a lot of time but I decided to give good ol' rice bran a try due to the price difference. Been on Rice bran for 3 weeks and already a noticeable improvement. I do have to say that the maple syrup smell is Amazing! and had my horse licking up every last bit."

"My horse is a 17+hand half TB that has a history of nasty ulcers. He is NOT an easy keeper. After the ulcers were cured beginning of this fall, I noticed that he was not putting on any weight like he needed to. He was already getting over a bale of hay a day (so it was always in front of him) and fed multiple pounds of HealthyEdge. Still was a bit "ribby" and his topline was lacking even with regular workouts. I started him on SmartGain 4, wanting to try something to get weight on him for winter. It took about a month to no longer see ribs, and now over 3 months in, he is actually getting to a point where he is getting TOO heavy! This supplement is awesome, and everything from his weight to his hair coat has drastically changed for the better. It doesn't make my horse "hot" in the slightest. I will be keeping this supplement in his diet for as long as I own this horse. Great product if you are willing to wait for some results!"

"I started off with Weight Builder almost a year ago and for the last couple of months I switched him to SmartGain 4 for a less expensive weight builder to maintain and it has done wonderful. In those last two months he has been in training 4-5 day a week and he has still maintained his nice muscular thickness that has taken us about a year to achieve. Here is a before and after (about 11 months apart)"

"I bought this probably 3 weeks ago for my 22 year old mare that had some problems keeping weight on while nursing. Paige from SmartPak recommended that I start her on this with SmartDigest and 1/2 dose of Cool Calories 100 based on what I told her, which I did minus the Cool Calories since I started her on a rice bran supplement (Nutrena's Empower Boost in case you were wondering). I did have some problems getting her to eat it the first few days but since then she has been gobbling it up and licking her bucket clean! This stuff smells absolutely delicious! I am very hopeful that this will help her get back to her normal weight before winter hits too hard. The only disadvantage is the price. For me it is a real big stretch, especially combined with the other stuff she is on so I am very hopeful that I only have to use this for a couple of months."
