Hampton Classic by Antares
This beautifully made French saddle comes in a light brown grain leather with a very comfortable medium-deep seat of calfskin leather. If you choose to add a saddle plate, the plate will not be attached to the saddle so in case of a return the saddle will not be damaged.

After having this saddle on trial for an extended period, an extensive search to try to find a 17.5" by Smartpak, receiving an 18" then a 17" new saddle to try, I finally have my own new saddle and this saddle is AMAZING. Came with Antares oil and already felt amazingly soft pre-oil, but turned a gorgeous darker brown and even softer after oiling. Stick like glue in the saddle but still move freely when needed; in my "prior life" before kids, rode dressage but now doing H/J...can lengthen stirrups and sit comfortably to do some dressage again (although this truly is in NO way close to a dressage saddle) yet shorten the stirrups and feel very balanced from jumping. Just an awesome balanced saddle - love it!

This saddle is so comfy, and soft. It fits my 15.3 TB mare perfectly and sits well on my QH who is "well rounded" aka on the large size. No breaking in needed, just get on and ride.

I purchased this saddle in November, it is absolutely wonderful! It broke in quickly and is holding up to 5 rides a week perfectly! I highly recommend that you get a test ride if you are considering it since it gives you the opportunity to ensure the correct flap length. I needed a short since the blocks are stationary and the regular length caused the blocks to impede my leg. The leather is beautiful; the seat is comfy and puts my leg in a nice position. It does NOT fit my Thoroughbred (sits too low on his wither), but it fits my Arab-Quarterhorse beautifully!

I purchased this saddle not really knowing what to expect. This saddle is fantastic. It is not only worth every penny, i would pay double for it. The calf skin leather is beautiful and it was broken in after only 3 rides! It helps me maintain my position and rate my post like no other saddle. I would recommend this to any rider!!!

This saddle is amazing. The leather is so soft and it fits my horse and I perfectly. I would recommend this saddle to anyone! I tried a PJ USA before this one and hated it. I waited over a month for this saddle and it was well worth the wait. So glad I didnt settle for the PJ.

My daughter LOVES this saddle. It gives her a great seat and is very comfortable (even when breaking in). The leather is good quality and darkens nicely when oiled. We looked at used Anatares before buying this new as we saw how well they hold their value. It was a little more than I wanted to spend, but I believe it will be a good investment.

Having 3 horses ranging in age from 13 -19 ( each a different breed: AQHA, TB & KWPN) it was proving challenging to find a saddle that would work on them and make me feel comfortable, secure and balanced. After trying the higher end, custom Antares for fit, we tried the Hampton Classic last - and Lo and behold - the less expensive saddle was the best fit for ALL 3! (Who knew? That NEVER Happens with horse related anything!) I'm completely comfortable on the trail and in the show ring.

I love this saddle - it is super comfortable, fits many horses and puts me in just the right position. I feel really secure and have stopped feeling apprehensive as I approach the big oxers. My trainer couldn't believe the difference in my riding. It's amazing what a better balanced saddle can do for you!
