"The halter is great. Made well and makes him look so handsome. But the lead line I gave to my trainer for pony stuff. I have a big guy and the lead line looked funny and was too short. The halter was worth the money."

"Given that I love Amigo products and was in need of a halter I figured this would be a great deal. It was but not...
The halter fits my gelding wonderfully but I was surprised at how rough and hard the nylon was. Thankfully I had purchased a fleece set the same time I ordered the halter. I wouldn't dare use this halter without the covers.
As for the lead rope I actually like it. For me it's the perfect length and the perfect size. I have no problems with it.

"I ordered the matching shipping boots and already own an Amigo cooler, and both I love! This halter and lead rope set is of a far inferior quality than other Amigo products and even more cheesy than the halter and lead rope sets you find at the discount tack auctions. I am so glad I didn't buy each of my horses this halter like I originally planned. I think I would feel bad GIVING this halter away :-(
So unlike Smartpak and Amigo. It will not stop me from liking both brands though. The shipping on the halter and lead and the shipping boots I ordered was SUPER fast. I was amazed!"

"This fits my horse quite well and looks nice on him, but I'm a little disappointed in the leadrope. As others mentioned, it's thinner and shorter than your standard lead, and the snap doesn't feel like it's great quality. I can go pick up another leadrope pretty easily, but it's annoying that I can't use the one that matches, since that's one of the major reasons why I bought this particular item. I probably would have purchased a different halter if I had known I'd end up having mismatched colors anyway."

"This halter looked beautiful at first but the color faded very quickly and is coming apart at all the hardware. The lead rope could not be used because it was too slick to hold and very short. Too bad since I have the cooler and the shipping boots which are beautiful and nice quality."

"I bought this halter / leadrope as a spare because it was such a great deal. You definitely get what you pay for though. It's attractive and fits great but the hardware is very flimsy. The leadrope is also very thin and short. They would be good for light use or to keep on hand as a spare. Not a heavy duty everyday halter."
