"I'm an Arc de Triomphe junkie and have been slowly amassing a collection of beautiful strap goods. This martingale is no exception to the quality and craftsmanship Arc de Triomphe has become known for.
Although it's an Imperial running martingale, I bought it to match the AdT Eros bridle that I already own. When oiled down, the two leathers match beautifully and the martingale nearly glows. It is a thing of beauty!
I did find that it ran a little big. I bought a Full size for my 16.1h Dutch gelding who doesn't have an overly small or short neck. I found that I needed to adjust the attachment to the second-to-top hole, and the neck strap is the same way. It's fine, and fits him well that way, but I would be a little leery of buying that size for a much smaller horse.
It is a pricey investment, but is a martingale that could walk into any show ring anywhere, and all of the AdT tack I have had in the past holds up to both schooling and showing beautifully, so you easily get your money's worth!"
