"This is my daugher typing [she is the one who owns him!]
My horse, Super Dupe, has done a ton in his lifetime- he raced, then he was jumped, then he was retired out to pasture and shortly after, sold and unretired and put into trail work, then finally Dressage. Obviously that took a good toll on his joints for the 18 years he has been worked.
When I bought him, he was not the smoothest ride I ever sat. I got used to him, and he had a habit of going lame once or twice a year when finally last year his stifle completely went out on him, and he had a month off with only handwalking and he got semi back to normal, but he was never the same. I decided to try this, and after a week and a half of being on it, he is a COMPLETELY different horse. He is happier than ever, and I feel like I am riding a cloud! All he wants to do is extend! He is finally interested, motivated, and happy. I would reccomend this to EVERYONE, and I already have!!!"

"I switched my two semi-retired mares to the Smart Flex Sr. because the added ingredients for senior horses convinced me that it would be a "Smart" move. One mare, Impulsive, is a 20 year old semi-retired TB upper level eventer, who had bone chips and fragments as well as extensive DJD in her knee, resulting in surgery and causing us to retire her from eventing 2 years ago. The other, Dolly, is a 28 year old QH mare who has been sound and healthy until another horse beat her up last summer, leaving a permanent swollen knee. Neither mares had been bothered by their injuries until this past winter, which was the coldest on record for Florida. Both mares started having days that they were stiff and sore. The non-stop freezing temperatures were taking a toll on both of them. I switched Imp's supplement to SmartPak Senior and added Dolly to the regiment as well. Both mares responded well to the supplement and rather quickly. On freezing days, they were moving much better and even galloping around when turned out. With summer here, there have been no soundness issues, Dolly is used for trail rides and Imp does lower level dressage when her "mom" is home from college. I am sure that come next winter, they will continue to do well."

"I have used with great luck the Smartflex Senior pellets. Since my horse was going to be eating beet pulp, I figured I could save a couple dollars and get the powdered version of this supplement instead. Its a struggle to get him to eat it, so I will be switching back to the Smartflex Senior pellets. If your horse will eat anything try this, if not get the pellets, but Smartflex Senior is a great product, it helped with my boy's creaky hocks, and I love the added probiotic."

"I have started my 29 year old QH gelding on Smartflex Senior as I was noticing a change in his ability to digest his food. He is on a senior feeding program and a daily dose of Pergaloid as he has been diagnosed with Cushing's Disease. He was beginning to have loose bowel movements on a regular basis. The Smartflex has already begun to help him form a normal stool once again. He is much more comfortable and loves the flavor. Thank you for a good product!"

"My 27 year old gelding has been on the Smartflex Senior for about 2 weeks and I can tell a major difference in his joints. He was very arthritic before the use of the Smartflex , but now he has less snap, crackle and pop from his hips and hocks. His gait a lot smoother. The only complaint I have about the product is the amount I have to feed. The supplement to feed ratio is high. My horse is NOT a picky eater but he did turn his nose up to the supplement the first couple of times I fed it to him."

She's happy with it, she doesnt have any weight issues, but the joint care is unbeatable. i use it only in the summer, which isnt the best but i ride 8-10 hours a day sometimes, and she is always sound and happy. "We have a 26 year old barrel horse that still runs at least once every weekend. In less than 2 weeks on this supplement I have watched her run harder than she ever has. She looks better than she has in a very long time and is happy. We also have a 13 year old barrel horse and recently had the equine dentist and chiropractor out who both commented on how the older horse is in better shape! Highly, highly recommend this product!!"

"I used this product for about 4 months but did not see any difference. I have a 15 year old warmblood, and he had a long jumping career before starting dressage when I bought his 2 years ago. I thought this might help him lose some of his stiffness. He ate it, and it has good amounts of the joint supplements at a very fair price (compared to similiar products), I just didn't see any change in my horse's joints or movement. I decided to go back to MSM, I'm not sure if that does anything either but just in case it makes him more comfortable, it's far less expensive and gives him the same results as far as I can see."

"So not only would I recommend this to a friend, but I have recommended it to many of my friends who now use it. It has brought the spunk back to my aging gelding, helped him put on pounds of weight and brought him into tip top shape! At the therapeutic barn at which I work, all of the older horses (by old I mean 25 and 30 year olds) are doing amazing on it! And even my show barns competitive hunter/jumper is doing amazing on it! "I started my 27 year old QH gelding on Smart Flex Senior about 6 months ago, and I am absolutely thrilled with the results. He came through the winter better than he ever had before, kept his weight, and his summer coat (which normally appears in patches, making him look bald!) came in so healthy and shiny, I just couldn't believe it. And of course, he's moving great! Even canters across the pasture with the young TB's he's out with. I started giving it to my younger competition horse shortly after. No one can believe he's the age he is. A great product at a great price!"

"I switched my horse from SmartFlex Senior to SmartFlex III Ultra Pellets as SmartFlex Senior contains Devil's Claw which is a forbidden substance in competition. I'm happy to see that SmartPark now offers a Herb Free version of SmartFlex Senior as it's a great value for the price and works well for my horse."
