After doing lots of research when we adopted a short-hair mix I opted to try this food with her. Her skin was consistantly itchy and she was also quite thin and still had some growing to do. She has been on this food for the three years we have had her and I could not be more pleased. She isn't itchy, her coat is GORGEOUS (sometimes the wirehaired short haired dogs look... dingy. She glistens!) Every time the vet sees her he asks me again, "What kind of food do you have her on? She looks SO good!" I've recommended Wellness foods to many of my friends, especially those dogs with allerigies to wheat and corn, and their dogs have done great on this product!

Rupert has not been on this food long enough to give it a fair rating so we will update later. He has never eaten his dry food without lots of prompting and tricks but this he seems to really like. It is very spendy and the amount suggested for his weight seems to leave him hungry so it needs to be supplemented with some filling goodies.

Finally, after three tries, a food that My Star gobbles up. Her bowel movements are also healthy, firm, and without filler. I personally like the 1/4 cup sizes; very convenient and the amount is consistent which also is healthy for her.

We started our dog Cody on this because he had food allergies and was always scratching. It was driving us crazy. Cody loves the food and no longer scratches constantly.Has minimal ingredients just the basics.

I have two Cocker Spaniels that have been on Wellness since they became family members. Up until a couple of weeks ago they have always been on the Super5Mix Complete Health chicken and it has been great. Their coats are great, their skin is great and they love the food, but one of my dogs has always had loose stools and she chews on her feet, so I decided to switch to Super5 Complete Health Whitefish and sweet potato. They both love the food and the stools are much better but she is still chewing on the feet. I will keep them on this because of the stool improvement and see if the itching subsides in the future and because they love love love it!

I use Wellness products for 3 dogs, and I use a different product for each one. This particular one I feed to my 8 year old black labrador. Her coat is great, it seems to help with non-seasonal shedding, and her overall health is excellent. She is not a "fatty" like many Labs her age so I don't have her on the Healthy Weight product . We have had problems in the past with itchy skin and this fish and sweet potato mix has solved the problem. Also, she likes it!

A few years ago, our puppy began throwing up daily and it looked like there was blood in it. We took her to the vet, they ran test after test, couldn't determine what was wrong. We were using ordinary dog food from the typical supermarket. We did some research about dogs being allergic to ingredients such as corn, chicken, and beef. We found this product at SmartPak and gave it a try, and we haven't ordered anything different since. Our dog's problems vanished ... no more thowing up, healthy coat, healthy and happy dog! We love this product for our chihuahua-jack russell!

My dog, Liam, has MAJOR skin allergies and has to be on medication for life. He scarfs down this food twice a day and really seems to like it! I am very pleased with the brand, which I've been using for 2 months now. Not sure it is helping his skin issue but his allergies are mainly due to outdoor things.

My dog is allergic to rice, beef, chicken and slightly allergic to lamb. Do you know how hard it is to find a dog food that does not contain RICE? Thank you for providing a healthy option for a dog with food allergies! He is a lab with a big appetite and he loves this food!

I did some research before making changes to my senior dogs diet. Nutrition is very important to me, and my dog has several food allergies. I have been very impressed with this food. My dog seems to love the taste, always licks the bowl clean! He is twelve, but aside from his graying muzzle, you'd never guess it! He's got more energy and is generally more playful. I can tell he feels good, and that makes me feel good. His skin issues have cleared up completely and he isn't licking and chewing at his paws or other former "problem areas". His coat looks great too!

My dog has incredibly sensitive skin and very particular dietary tolerances. Add to that the fact that I don't want to feed her chemical preservatives or second rate ingredients, you can imagine what a find this food has been. She loves it, it's easy on her stomach and great for her coat. Thankfully, Smartpak not only carries this food, but has the best price for it.
