"My thoroughbred mare LOVES this bit. She was working in a pelham when I bought her and continuously tossed her head. I put her in this bit and she is so easy to get on the bit now. She takes it willingly and plays with it. I have even taken her XC schooling with it and she did wonderfully! She has been so responsive! I will always try a horse in a happy mouth before anything else from now on."

"I have a APH who is very fussy. He has always avoided the bit and hated being bridled. After I put this bit on him, he started to relax more and accept the bit. After a year of using this bit, he goes very nicely, keeps his head down, and even stays on the bit sometimes. He loves to play with the soft rubber and chews on it - he has worked his bit down to where it fits his mouth perfectly! I would definitely recommend this bit."

"This is my new "go-to" bit... I tried it on two different TBs and found that they both went much more lightly than with their usual bits (jointed D-ring snaffles). However, for a horse who likes to pull a great deal or gets very strong, some riders may not want to use this bit."

"I don't know about other horses, but this bit did not work for my mouthy, fussy in the bridle Anglo-Arab, it was a mistake. I wanted to try something 'gentle' to encourage him to chew and accept the bit more. This is what I heard it did. Well, not with this horse. Possibly it was a little too small, whatever, he left teeth marks on one side, and I know he does not need dental work, I have an excellent dentist who was just here last January. No problem, it was pretty cheap, so will go off to the used tack store, and I will have to eat the difference. I guess you get what you pay for, so I will stick with the expensive German bits."

"my 2 year old put it right in her mouth. She played with it with in her mouth for a minute then just accepted it. Gave to pressure willingly. She has the pink one since she is a red roan, and just looks cute"

"OREO HAS NOT HAD A BIT IN HIS MOUTH FOR A LONG TIME DUE TO THE FACT THAT HIS OWNER HASN'T PAID THAT MUCH TIME OR EFFORT WITH HIM. IT STILL ISN'T EASY BUT HE IS EXCEPTING THE BIT MUCH EASIER. WE WILL CONTINUE TO WORK WITH HIM AND HOPEFULLY HE WILL CONTINUE TO IMPROVE"
