Great for small dogs

Our Jack Russell lovingly chews these and they last awhile, or until she sets it down and the Labrador Retrieve picks it up and in a twinkling of an eye munches through it. If your dog is a strong chewer, these will not last more than a minute. But for smaller dogs, i would recommend them.

Picked this product up for my aussie when he was a puppy. Then it took him an entire afternoon to finish one off. He absolutely loved them and it offered me some quiet time to get some work done. Now at a little over a year old he polishes them off in less than a 1/2 hr. I will definitely keep giving them to him for many years to come!

If you need 30 minutes of uninterrupted peace and you have a very active puppy, Flossies are the answer. They are produced in the USA and are all natural/very good for teeth cleaning/our mini aussie puppy LOVES them. There has been no problem with GI upset, upper or lower. We feed organic baked chicken and Royal Canin dry puppy food. Nellie, at seven months, is healthy and beautiful. We recommend flossies without reservation.

I would recommend flossies to any dog owner. Our australian shepherd happily chews these treats and they can last for hours. We are very particular about chews and only buy USA products which can be hard to find.

Aussie puppy spends 30 quiet minutes with her flossy. Fact that it is a USA product was major factor in choosing this for our new puppy. There is no debris left on the carpet or floor where she chews it and the regular size lasts for two days with intermittent chewing. She has had no problems with digestion after one month of using them every other day.

I have a puppy that had been very good about chewing, but suddenly started getting into everything. He was teething and rawhide chips just weren't good enough. In my search for an alternative and I found these. He absolutely loves them! And they last for more than a few hours too! (He's an almost 5 mo. old aussie who is a SERIOUS chewer)

Both my 13 month old Lab and my 7 month GSD will "kennel up" with no words at all when I open the container these are in. They'll come running from the yard or the other end of the house. I love it! These don't last long with my big boys so they are "treats" indeed, and aren't for every day on my budget.

Although quite expensive, these obviously taste fantastic to a dog. I have a Syberian Husky who finished one of these off in 5 minutes. But obviously she thought she was in heaven for that time since she refused to leave it so we could go for our run. Will buy them again, but only hand them out as a VERY special treat.

I absolutely love Flossies for my dogs. I have two Bichon Frises (3 yrs and a puppy of 18 weeks)--and they can't seem to get enough of them. My three year old could go through one a day if she had her way! My vet always remarks on how white her teeth are (and bichons--like a lot of other small dogs--can have dental problems), and thought I brushed them daily (I don't). I highly recommend Flossies--and your dog will love you for them!

Unfortunately, my dog did not have a good experience with Flossies. He seemed to enjoy chewing on it but then vomited it all up a little bit later. I did not give him the second one and I'm not sure I'll pass it on to another dog. He has a very strong stomach and rarely gags so I don't know what happened this time.

So they were new and different -- meaning my suspicious pups weren’t too sure about these twisty treats. Once I reassured them they were for eating, they were soon devoured! No one needs to tell them they’re good for their teeth but I’m going to have to order more!

This is the dog's favorite treat. This is the medium size which should work well for any medium and large dog. She takes it and immediately stops whatever she is doing and eats it. Usually takes her several minutes (large dog) and she is quite content. She will beg for these, looking to the container where they are kept and communicating her desire. She has good, clean teeth. Price is comparable to dog store prices.

I was really excited to try these out - I thought they might be something I could leave my 2 dogs that suffer from separation anxiety with when I go to work. I bought the large sized ones since I have aggressive chewers, but even that didn't help. My Pit/Greyhound devoured hers in under 10min & my Jack Russell had his down in 30min.
They did seem to like them though & I think the shape of them made them more of a challenge to rip apart.

I have a medium sized dog (35 lbs), and for his entire life he's never had much interest in chewing on anything. As he's been getting older, his teeth haven't been doing so well and I've been looking high and low for something that he would chew on. I've bought a few different things and hit the jackpot with the regular size Flossies, he loves chewing on them! His teeth seem to be doing better as well. He's still not a very aggressive chewer, so each one lasts over a week. I don't think they'd last very long for a dog who really loves to chew, but my dog loves them and it keeps his interest. I'd definitely recommend giving them a try.

When I get out the Flossies, my two mini schnauzers go nuts! They love the hours of chewing they provide and help keep their teeth clean! I always have some in my pantry for them.

My dog gobbles these up in about 10 minutes. The shape helps prevent him from trying to swallow more of it at once, which he does with rawhide. They are a little stinky (not as bad as pig ears).

Perfect for Pugs!

May 23, 2008
ByPug Lover

My pug absolutely loves her Flossies! They're thin enough for a smaller dog to chew on and apparently are very tasty. The shape is also very conducive to chewing. And nothing is funnier than seeing a pug run around with a Flossie in their mouth, trust me!
