"They provide a way for one to measure and I measured but the chaps came in exactly as I measured with no room for movement. I was surprised but Smart Pak handled it great and I sent them back. I love this company, Smart Pak and they are above and beyond with customer service, advice etc. Thanks."

"These are awesome chaps! They fit great! I was a little worried, but I ordered exactly the sizes that I measured myself and got the perfect fit. They're great quality leather. Little stiff at first (understandably), but after just 2 rides in them, they're already conforming around my legs and becoming so comfortable. I got the black without piping. In hindsight, I wish I had gotten the piping, but they still look great without it! I got the monogram too (no one's taking my chaps!), and it looks great. All around, I would definitely purchase these again or for a friend in the future. The price can't be beat for the quality. I feel like I purchased breeches for life. Basically, I LOVE them! Hope this helps!"

"The Top Grain English Schooling Chaps are beautiful. The quality is lovely and they seem to be durable while stylish! My chaps that I ordered were too big initially. I should have gone with instinct and bought the size smaller than my measurement giving room for them to stretch. SmartPak was a dream to work with and the chap company, Barnstable Riding, easily tailored them to a perfect fit. I am pleased with my chaps and would use SmartPak and the chap company again. "Consider schooling chaps. I didn't want tall boots. I considered half chaps and breeches. Breeches aren't cheap. And they're not jeans. (Where does my pocket knife go? My lip balm? My key?) The chaps are well made, fit like a glove, and the zipper looks like it's made to last forever. Bonus: they protect me from mesquite thorns and brush. Do pay attention to the sizing chart. I don't think you'd be able to zip a 13.5" calf-size chap over a 14" calf."
