I bought this knowing the girth had some issues with the elastic being to long, after I added a leather keeper to the girth buckles from sliding on to the horses skin it worked great! The sheep skin is vary nice, and washes well, and the leather is supple, I would buy it again even with me doing the addition on to the girth

Happy with this girth overall. It is a little stiff and takes a while to break in, but it has held up very well and my horse seems very comfortable in it.

Unfortunately, this attractive and soft girth doesn't have guide loops at the top to keep the girth from slipping left or right which is very inconvenient. Maybe it is just my horse's shape, but it is very disappointing.

Excellent
I like the fleece as my horse is sensitive on his abdomen area. It is well made and nice girth. I just wish it had holds for the billets up top since it was not a cheap girth. It is easy to clean just detach from the leather and throw in the wash. Having used the Lettia girth for my All Purpose saddle I loved it because it wicked well during hot weather.
I think I would have preferred the Lettia, but you were out of stock and I needed it right away.
Still it was an good purchase.

Dont buy this girth. This girth has a design problem which is that the part of the girth under the buckles slips behind the buckles when being used, so that it twists and leaves the buckles hovering over the skin, whilst the leather part is shoved aside. Unusable without taking to the saddler to have leather keepers put in for the billets. There really isn't room for this which will make girthing up very difficult. I think I may just throw it out. Too bad as the quality otherwise is very high.

This is a nice looking girth. Unfortunately, there is nothing holding the buckles straight and the girth can go forward leaving the buckles against the horse.

I think for the money, it can't be beat. Nice sheepskin for my girth sensitive horse. I didn't have any problems w/ the buckles or anything. Overall, love it!

I liked this girth when I looked at it in the store, but when I put it on my horse the rollers kept sliding forward and my horse was extremely uncomfortable. I was very disappointed. It needs a keeper at either end to help hold it in place.

This is a beautiful girth. The leather and sheepskin are very good quality... BUT
The problem is two-fold. The elastic is either too stretchy or too long. As soon as you girth up even loosely, the roller buckles are stretched above the leather of the girth. Also there are no keepers near the top of the girth. The girth buckles ride forward and off the girth and dig into the horse's side within minutes. Some kind of velcro keeper strap needs to be added to make it useable.
