Time released hindgut buffer to decrease risk of hindgut acidosis in at risk horses. Horses consuming grain as part of their daily ration or grazing lush pasture have an increased risk of developing hindgut acidosis due to starch or fructan overload and resulting fermentation in the hindgut. EquiShure acts to attenuate changes in hindgut pH that may result from fermentation of starches in the hindgut.?

My 8 yo imported Oldenburg gelding has colicked over 12 times in 2 years. He has had 3 surgeries at New Bolton Center and has Chronic Inflammatory Bowel Disease. We have tried everything to prevent it from re- occurring, switching feed, hay, meds etc. He is beyond a textbook case. In researching what supplements might help in addition to the steroids, I found Equishure. What a difference it has made. The buffering action in the hind gut has helped him immensely. Please try this. It works.

This is the best product ever. My 22 year old mare was becoming more and more finicky and refused to eat the food she has eaten for years. I give her a high quality probiotic but that did not seem to be enough. I started her on the Kee Equisure and in two weeks she was eating normally. It's a product that works and is very economical!

My 24 yr old KWPN recently went from robust to elderly almost overnight. He lost weight and top line, had a chronic diarrhea/loose stool, dull coat, was listless and looked miserable. He typically has a hard time this time of year (late fall). Four days on this product and the diarrhea was fully resolved. He is already gaining weight and top line. His coat and eyes are bright and shiny again. He is a much happier horse. Thank you KPH.

My TB mare had been having several severe intestinal issues and we tried so many different products and some worked slightly but never took care of the entire problem. However, Equishure has been a wonder supplement as she is making such a good recovery and all symptoms have subsided. This product is fabulous and I have recommended it to everyone I know!!!

After finding stomach acid damage during a scoping my vet at Rood & Riddle recommended this plus a front-end antacid. Since starting them my horse's appetite has improved and he is much calmer and less "on-edge"

What an amazing product. My mare lost interest in food and was quiet and lethargic after her first gas colic episode.
My vet thought she had a virus and said she would work through it. She did not "work through it" after a week and my nutritionist said my mare probably has hindgut acidosis and suggested I try KER Equishure. Within one day of feeding it, my mare starting coming around, and four days later she is back to her old self.
The "virus" was indeed hindgut acidosis which I learned can occur after a gas colic. I'm thrilled with how well my mare responded and plan to always have it around, especially during the time of year with the fructans in grass can be so high.
My horse has had a tummy ache for 3 years and all but stopped eating. She gave up trying to eat, even alfalfa until she couldnt stand it. She would pick at her food and hay some days. I treated for ulcers first with no results. She has major tummy rumbling after 1 bite of anything, food, grass, hay, treats, etc. which causes her to stop eating. She never lost her appetite just her will to eat but with this she started eating again although she figured out how to shake it off her food (it is the consistency) of salt so she isnt too crazy about the flavor. It is hard to add a supplement on top of feed when the horse wont eat even without it. I force feed it into her mouth with a syringe now and she eats her feed and hay most days now. She has regained alot of the weight she lost. I would definitely recommend this. It has given me my horse back (I trail ride and participate on a drill team) although it is a hassle administering it twice a day by mouth. I really wish it came in pellets.

I like this product, I think it really does help my mare's stomach stay settled, but it is a bit on the pricey side. Also, there is quite a bit of powder in two scoops, it ends up being just about a heaping handful of just powder! However, this is the ONLY supplement on the market that addresses acidity in the hindgut that I know of, so for that, it's worth the price.

Unbelievable

I tried everything imaginable to help an ex-racehorse with chronic diarrhea. I'd seen some improvement, but after 3 years, still no full resolution. I had really given up. My new vet/acupuncturist recommended EquiShure. Through all of what I had tried and all tests that were done seem to point to problems in the hind gut and probably not much if anything was making it to the hind gut. She said she had seen good results with hind gut issues. I thought I'd give one more thing a try. In 30 days there was tremendous improvement. In 60 days, he had absolutely no diarrhea. It is absolutely unbelievable.
