Previcox™ Chewable Tablets
Used in dogs for the relief of pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis. Firocoxib is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) in a class called COX-2 inhibitors. 57 mg or 227 mg tablets in 30 or 60 ct bottles.

"Noticed a difference in my arthritic senior dog after a week of use. Gets around the house, as well as, hikes with the younger dogs with more ease. Seems to rest more comfortably at night. I highly recommend it for any dog suffering with joint pain."

"Great alternative to bute for managing chronic arthritis and joint discomfort. I give it in addition to joint supplements and injections so my horses can have a much better quality of life. I have found it helpful for the horse that doesn't want to retire just yet. They may not compete anymore, but still want to be part of the activities."

"My 21 1/2 yr old Arab Mare was diagnosed with mild navicular and had an intermittent limp. I was heartbroken that she was in any discomfort. New shoes and pads, rolled toes and a 1/4 227 mg. "We started our 16 y.o. lab/husky mix on Previcox because, being a cox-2 inhibitor it seemed safer. she has been going strong for many years past her expectancy and is generally comfortable and healthy. We also use Cosequin DS for cartillage maintenance, while this product combats inflamation."

"My horse developed a high ringbone recently which was so painful she was mostly on 3 legs. Using the 227 mg. tablets she has improved noticeably in just a week. She even can trot and run a bit and it looks as though she'll be with us a good while longer. I had used the lower dose on a previous horse and it did not seem to make any difference so I can only personally recommend the high dose and maybe try to reduce it over time."

"I purchased previcox chewable tablets for my horse because he was having issues with his hocks and has a spur on his stifle. Some ropers at my barn had started using this on the older roping horses and was very happy with the results. So I asked my vet for a perscription. I have only used it for a month and a half now, and it seems to be working fine and also use it in combination with the cosequin ASU that I order. I also use it on my dog."

"I have a 13 year old Quarter Horse Mare who has done a complete turn around on 1-57mg pill a day for the last few months. It is amazing! She is arthritic, and always starts out of her stall stiff, then loosens up as she starts moving. The colder weather would also affect her "stiffness". Since she has been on a daily dose of Previcox, she is 100 percent improved, even in the coldest days of winter! We started this product going into the winter months, everything else is the same.
I would highly recommend this product as a replacement for long term Bute in horses."

"I have had my now 8y.o.perch/tb cross gelding on this product for over a year and it has done wonders for him! Jet has bone spurs in both front feet which caused him much discomfort. Surgery was not an option so my vet put him on this product and I am so very pleased w/the results!! He shows no signs of lameness and is full of himself and very happy. He does still have the occasional off day when he's ouchy but those days are very few and far between! I also have him on Cetyl-M which is also a wonderful product and I highly recommend it to anyone with a horse with issues such as mine. Thanks to this product I have been able to keep my horse healthy, happy and active when at the beginning of his lameness issues I was worried he'd have to be a "lawn ornament" at such a young age. Thank you previcox and Smart Pack for helping my friend and partner!! :)"

"My horse was diagnosed with cushings syndrome, metabolic disorder and chronic laminitis. Through alternative treatment, he has come back from a death sentence to a comfortable lifestyle. He was transitioned from bute to Previcox, and has done very well. Benefits are that this is a lower dosage that can be increased as necessary, and that it does not have the same caustic side effects to the digestive system that long term bute use can cause."
