"My horse LOVES this salt lick....I can definitely tell he has been enjoying it as he licks it down to the rope! I like the fact that this salt lick doesn't flake or crumble....it's very durable and stays on the rope until there's just no more left! Even though I can visibly tell my horse uses it often, it lasts a good while!"

"I love these salt licks. They're easy to hang in the stall, and they last a long time. Both of my horses love them, and they will stand there licking them for minutes at a time. I also like that I can tell they have been using the salt lick, as you can easily see an indentation forming since it's round in shape. I feel confident that my horses are getting the correct amount of salt in their diet, and they seem to like this type a lot better than other types I've used in the past."

"My horses love this salt. My one gleding especially goes crazy over it. Licks it for about ten minutes after every meal and has opted to lick it instead of playing with his Uncle Jimmy's Hanging Ball on multiple occasions. If he manages to run out before I get him a new one he stands at his stall door looking mournful after every meal and the amount of water that he drinks while he is up decreases by over half. Even with all of his licking the small block lasts a month easy and the medium lasts over two. They are well worth the money and the only salt lick that I will buy for my horses."

"This is the only free choice salt product that my horse will consume. I have tried every salt lick and granular salt product with or without mineral added. It also keeps him occupied and busy when he has to be in his stall since I put the small or broken pieces in his grain box where he can push them around."

"I used to use the big red blocks of feed store horse mineral salt, but switched over 5 years ago because I wanted a more natural salt. Now, I offer free choice Himalayan salt and Redmond rock salt. I keep both of these types of salt available in their stalls and my horse and donkey consume them at about the same rate. They seem to be doing well on it. I buy the human grade versions of both of these salts for myself and I really like the taste of them."

"I bought two of the small Himalayan salt licks. Both of my horses loved them. The rope hanger is really practical; no more finding the salt block on the floor in my horse's stall. I hung one in each stall.
My only complaint is that these are expensive compared to regular mineral blocks. My old gelding went through his in about 5 weeks. My mare's is about half-way gone. But what a great product for wintertime when encouraging water consumption is sometimes a struggle."

"Salt licks/blocks typically don't last long at our farm and a lot is usually wasted. We have one horse that likes to bite chunks off that usually end up on the stall floor. Not with these licks, however. The horses were really interested in them and they lasted a lot longer than usual plus I didn't see any bits and pieces on the ground. Highly recommend!"

"My horse uses the traditional wall-mounted salt block to rub on so I bought this to put in his feeder. Not only does he have to move it around to eat so it slows down his gobbling of feed, but he's licking it alot as it's become nice and smooth. Definately a good purchase!"

"I got this for my mare since I moved her home. She's never been a huge salt licker but I feel this is a great lick since it also has minerals. I also like it because she cant bite off chunks and eat it down if she wanted. Rope made it nice and easy to tie into her run in. Nice hearty lick!"
