"When we first got our cats we used an Advantix brand flea medication. However, we didn't know they would have a severe allergic reaction to the strong pestisides. We were almost positive we would have to put them down but thankfully they bounced back. I'm not sure about the ingredients in this (considering I'm not a bioengineer haha) but it works just as well as Advantix/Frontline but without the allergic reaction. Plus the price is a life saver, now that I'm spending 24 every three months instead of 80+ for my cat's flea control. I'm probably going to start my dog on Bio Spot as well considering my success with the Bio Spot for cats."

"While this product worked fine on my short-hair cat, it caused major problems with my long haired cat. I followed the label directions, but her hair looked very oily and then it matted. I had to cut the mats out. She looks very scruffy now-she has a big patch on the nape of her neck. I think this product works fine on short-haired cats, I won't put it on my long haired female again."
