"I first purchased Pure C about 1 1/2 years ago for my senior horse who also has heaves. I give 1/4 oz. morning and night and he has done very well since I started him on this supplement. It is very economical to feed and the quantity is so little that it's hard for a horse to sift it out.

Twice the Vitamin C., only 1/4 oz., and a great price... I couldn't ask for more!

"My gelding had been suffering from yeast growth and swelling of his male part & area, after the vets tried everything they could to treat it. It was recommemded I try to change his ph level with vitamin C, IT WORKED!! as long as he receives two scoops aday he is healed. Yea!!! I will have him on this for life, I dont even want to go into detail about the smell and how it looked not to mention the pain he felt before I started the Vit C."

"My horse loves this supplement, it has a neutral smell too it but he sure gobbles it up. My horse's minor respiratory concern have cleared up (runny nose/slight cough). Worth every cent!"

"Horses eat it, which is a big thing! That said, product is easy to administer, is delivered in an extraordinarily timely manner (less than 24 hours without special handling). I am not a chemist, but trust the quality of SmartPak products."

"Simple, low-volume, product to provide enough vitamin C to aged horses who don't need senior feed or don't need a full ration of senior feed. Rather than an ounce or more supplement that may end up left in the bottom of the feed tub, this small dose sticks to Equine Senior or wet hay cubes and seems to be fairly taste-neutral to the horse. I guess it is effective but haven't done lab tests."

"I was a little unsure about this product until I tried it. My older gelding, 24, developed a morning stable cough and runny nose after a stressful move. The vet checked him and couldn't find anything seriously wrong. So he determined it was the stress of the move. I had purchased this product a short while before the move thinking a little vitamin c wouldn't hurt if anybody got stressed. So I tried it. He completely cleared up in a few days and was back to his normal self. Now I won't leave home without it."

"Because of a health issue, my horse has to have an above-normal amount of Vit. C. daily. Pure C meets his requirements both in price and quantity. I have been using Pure C on a daily basis for the last several years and I have always been satisfied with the product.

I made the mistake one time of not reordering Pure C in time and had to purchase a pure C container from our local health food store. That purchase of Vit. C was very expensive and lasted just a few days. Pure C is the same excellent quality as the health food store Vit. C and is much cheaper.

"My horse was diagnosed with kidney stones. An analysis of the stones was done and determined that Vitamin C could help, but the prognosis was not good. That was four years ago! My horse has been on Vitamin C ever since without any further issues."
