"My husband often has trouble keeping his feet properly placed in the stirrups, so he thought he'd try these and he loves them. Hard to rate durability as he has used them less than a month, but they are lightweight, easy to put on/take off, and easy to clean. Most importantly, it helps him keep his foot right where he wants it."

"Nice product. The screws were a little short and we had to add longer ones to attach to the stirup. Other than that, they are nice."

"I have been looking everywhere for safety stirrup covers for english stirrups. Having suffered an ankle injury I don't feel as confident regaining a lost iron when riding, especially on the trail in a sticky situation. I had purchased E-Z ride stirrups but they were way to bulky looking on my english saddle besides they cost $75.00! These Matrix cages are much less noticeable. So easy to install and can quickly be removed. Can't beat the price. So so happy I found these, I feel much more confident when riding now."
"I originally bought these for my 6 year old daughter to keep her feet from getting caught in the stirrups. I then bought an adult size pair for my older students. These are a fantastic idea. New riders not ready to pay for boots can ride safely in shoes. They are easy to put on and hold up well. The only disadvantages would be that the adult toe cage doesn't fit into some of the hinged stirrups and you can't run up your stirrups with the cages on. However the benefits totally outweigh the negatives. I am about to purchase two more pairs."

"I purchased this tool to help my child learn correct foot placement and prevent her from pushing her foot way too far forward in the stirrups. It's worked great and several riding instructors have made comments about it being a great tool. I saw others that were made out of leather and am so glad I went with this style. Not too restrictive but places foot right where it needs to be. Easily slips on & off should other students use the same stirrups. Very pleased with outcomes....great price too!"

"I purchased for my child who has had trouble stretching down into heel so finding the ball of the foot has been a real challenge. This has really done the trick. No more ankle through the stirrup and has begun to place foot in correct position. Very pleased; obtained the desired results. Only used a month, but seems like it will last. Price was reasonable."

"I'm trying to get "back in the saddle again" after many years of not riding and a back injury. Learning to balance myself is not easy with the back problem, not to mention not being able to keep my feet in the stirrups. The Safety Toe Cage completely solved my problem, I can now work on my balance! It takes less than a minute to put them on and you can easily remove them. HOPE THIS HELPS."

These are great!

"For any beginner, these are a great alternative to a safety stirrup or Peacock iron! The rider's foot cannot slide through, eliminating the risk of the foot being stuck. They are very easy to put on or take off. Also, by not allowing the foot to go too far in, the rider can really work on getting their heels down - a problem I've always had when teaching very young children, with tiny little paddock boots!"
