"This is the fly spray I always buy. I've tried just about all of the long-lasting sprays and I dont care what the others say, this is the only one which does not attract dust!"

"I've tried a lot of fly sprays and here in Arizona our flies are here year round. When I'm not using "Bug Check" or an equivalent product, I do see an increase in flies. I tried this fly spray reluctantly because of the price, but instantly the flies stopped landing on my horses and stayed off. It smells good and gives the horses a shine. I've found it does not last 14 days however especially since my horses love to roll and are brushed regularly. But once a day is enough, sometimes can get away with a couple days, unlike some of the other sprays I have tried. Buying the gallon refill will last quite a while and is worth it in the long run."

"I just applied it to my fly magnet mare, I usually use Piranha fly spray, but I hate applying it daily! This stuff has worked really well as soon as I put it on! Smells alright and it seems to work right away!"

"I recently decided to try Duraguard because it is the cheapest of the three sweatproof fly sprays on the market. It actually works better than the other two! The real test was when I went out of town for four days. I sprayed my horse with Duraguard before I left and while I was gone he was caught in rainstorms, rolled in the mud, and hosed down daily. When I got back in town I went to see him and he was STILL bug free. Definitely going to keep using this."

"I have really liked using this product for years. It lasts several days and after the horse sweats & helps keep the coat clean. Has worked well for knats and deer flies. I always use it when going to shows or events.
When working the horse daily in the summer heat, I do need to reapply it after bathing or hosing the horse off with linament to cool him out. In those cases I use a less exspensive fly spray over his body and then duragaurd on his face & ears, then after the bath I apply Duraguard over his body after he is dry to protect him longer.

"I tried this product after reading about its long-lasting effects, only to find that it doesn't last long at all! It MIGHT last 30 minutes, no where near the 14 days that the packaging promotes. It also smells terrible and made my horses' coats as slippery as ShowSheen. I'll be switching back the the Premier Marigold spray from Eqyss- it lasts just as long, doesn't make my horses into slip 'n slides, and smells fabulous!"

"This product worked ok. Be aware that it will make your horses coat slippery so don't put it in the saddle area - found this out the hard way. Did not work well at all while on a trail ride - my horse was going nuts from the flies."

"Let me first say that I primarily use fly predators to keep the flies from making life miserable. I use fly spray for ticks, mosquitoes, horse flies, and other annoying pests. I also primarily use Repel-Xp on the top half of the horses daily because it is cheap while still working great and I can mix it with vitamin E oil to condition their coats. I wanted a product that I did not have to apply daily to their undersides (in between the back legs, the belly, chest, etc), because I don't like putting chemicals on that sensitive skin daily. I have been happy with the Duraguard for this use so far. It seems to work quite well and I have not had to apply it for maybe a week or so. I cannot say how well it works when used over the whole body, but I have not found any ticks or seen any itchy bumps on the undersides of my four horses since I started using it a few weeks ago. In my area ticks are especially bad this year. It has worked very well on my bay mare who seems to be especially tasty to the flies and does not irritate the skin of my incredibly sensitive TB gelding."

"I was worried my mare might be allergic to this (she seems to be allergic to many, many things!) but thankfully was not. The bugs are terrible this spring, and it does seem to be doing it's job, would recommend to friends, infact my friends often borrow it to use. This is what I have found works the best after trying many different brands in the past."

"The sprayer nozzle popped off of the bottle on about the 6th squirt. We were at a horse trial and ended up with no flu spray to use. It claims to be waterproof/sweatproof, but it did not appear to be of much use after coming off cross country."

"This is the only spray that my sensitive red-headed Trakehner gelding will tolerate on his white legs. The smell isn't that bad, and I've even sprayed my dogs with it and they don't mind it, either. It seems to work better than the others in keeping off the pesky deer flies and gnats. Would highly recommend, especially if you live in this area where the summers are muggy and humid."
