I got these boots but with fleece. They are very flashy looking and clean up well. The buckles are strong and hold the boots in place. They don't come with a bag to store them in but one can be made or purchased pretty easily.

I had been looking for a leather open-front boot, with natural-coloured sheepskin that wasn't too fluffy and had the buckle closure for my Thoroughbred equitation horse. These boots are wonderful. They oiled up perfectly into a rich brown colour; they have just the right amount of sheepskin and fit very well. These are definitely A-Circuit quality boots. I have only had them for a week or so and only ridden in them once since I want to keep them nice so I don't know how well they will hold up but they certainly seemed well made as I was scrutinizing every inch during oiling.

I have four HUGE warmbloods. There are not many open front boots manufactured on the market that are made in a true "oversize" for the 17h + horse. This boot is one of the few and I love it. I have them with sheepskin lining. The gelding that I purchased these for is particularly sensitive to anything other than natural fibers. Sheepskin, whenever possible, is optimal. The sheepskin is a lovely natural color (that some won't like) that looks good on his dark bay (with no white) coat. I bought a matching Mattes pad and Edgewood sheepskin girth in natural specifically to match these boots.

rather pleased

After soft tissue injuries, my vet recommended leather lined leather boots to prevent heat build-up. Skeptical, as I used SMB and Woof boots, I tried these boots out. They took a couple days to break in, but have stayed put through grass/mud/water--no slipping, clean up really nicely and I am quite impressed by the lack of sweat dripping off my mare's legs after a ride in 90 degree temps. I just might try eventing in them next year.
