I tried this out at the last show for my hunter, and I ended up going back to the old crochet hook. I loved that it didn't catch extra hair while pulling the strings through, but I just couldn't quite get comfortable with it. I plan on trying it again in a few weeks at the next show, and it's a great idea, but it seemed awkward on my hands.

I braid for every show and HATE using a latch hook tool to pull my braids through. I usually use a large-eyed embroidery needle to pull the yarn through and keep it in between my teeth between braids. I ordered this item for my last show and love it! It is comfortable to keep on my finger as I pull my braids through and the eye is large and easy to thread the yarn through. And to top it all off - you get three of them! Highly recommended if you hate the latch hook as much as I do!

I am a professional braider and I found this tool to be most helpful in braiding tails or forelocks. It doesnt have the hook and loop closure like a latch hook so you wont catch extra hairs. And unlike a needle, it is much easier to thread the yarn through and hold in your hand. Its definitely a good product, and for the price you get three!
