"I bought this bit for my green Hanoverian jumper, who tends to rush and get strong. I needed a little more control, but didn't want to put her in a 'harsh' bit since she's still pretty green. I had previously been riding her in just a loose ring snaffle, and this bit does give me a little better control, but it's not dramatic."

"I have been using a friend's Springer Aurigan french elevator bit, but didn't want to invest quite that much money in a bit at this time. This Korsteel bit is very well made and works well on my horse. He accepts the bit willingly and has a nice wet mouth just like with the aurigan bit. A very good buy."
