Gets my Mattes Pads clean and FITS breeches clean without damaging the sheepskin or leather, and is very economical, just a capful per load! Much better than Leather Therapy Wash/Conditioner.

My leather seat breeches and sheepskin saddle pads are clean, soft, luxurious and smell fresh. Honestly they don't have a smell. Which I love! I hate over perfumed soaps, and love that Pepede doesn't have any perfumes what so ever! My Thoroughbred has had no issues with any of the saddle pads I've washed with Pepede (he isn't sensitive skinned, though). Good product!

I have used this product for years, but recently I made the mistake of trying a couple other leather soaps that I thought were similar. None of them even compare to this cleaner/soap. My 1/2 pads didn't come out half as clean with other products, and they weren't nearly as soft.
Like others have mentioned, you only use a capful per load, so its extremely economical while working better than anything else on the market. I was also told to use it on all breeches (even those without leather) because it prevents the elastic from rotting.
Great product- by far my favorite. (and its super gentle so I've never had any reactions from it- horse/rider) Thank goodness SmartPak carries this!

I use saddle pads with real sheepskin on the inside on both my young horses in daily work. I hang them on the fence to dry the sweat after each use and then brush them before I put them away. I wash them weekly with Pepede in a washing machine on "gentle" and hang them on the fence to dry.
The 2 pads and one girth cover which have been used 6 days a week for 4 months look like new and the sheepskin is soft and flexible. Real sheepskin pads are expensive but they seem to prevent a number of skin problems on the back and I appreciate having a product to keep them looking good and functioning well over time.

I like this product for my real leather seat breeches. It helps keep them soft, is pretty economical to use and has a more pleasant scent than the other leather wash product I've used. I also wash my husband's cycling gloves in Pepede -- they come out much softer than when they're washed in regular detergent.

I have used Pepede for years. I bought it at my tack shop to wash my leathers. And then I started to machine wash all my sweaters on gentle cycle with this product. I also used it to wash sheepskins for my invalid husband's comfort.
Just the smallest amount is necessary for a fresh smelling clean.

This product works! I use it on my breeches and it is awesome. It doesn't "rot" out the elastic and prolongs the breeches life by a lot. (even cheaper schooling breeches).
Great product, and it lasts forever!

Someone recommended this to me and I used it on my daughter's full seat breeches. They came out great! And I only had to use a capful...it will obviously last forever. I loved it!

Only way to clean breeches

I have owned a bottle of Pepede since I first started riding many, many years ago. I was told always to wash my full-seat leather breeches with it and only it and that's what I've done. I still can't figure out how a tiny capful (in cold water, no less) gets my riding pants clean, but as long as it continues to work it will be the only product my breeches will ever see.
