"I loved the ad mentioning spraying fly spray and it all blowing back in your face! It's pretty windy here on the prairie, so I bought one of these for me, one for a friend for Christmas. Since it's zero today without the wind chill, the need for fly spray is rather slim, but we are both excited about the summer season!!"

"What an awesome product. It took serious self control not to buy one for every liquid I apply to my horse. But for those with a more generous budget, I would recommend it! It even has a box you can mark to indicate what you use it for, so you don't mistake the fly spray mitt for leather polish mitt, for example. The attached cover is actually a bag that turns inside out to envelop the mitt and closes with a zipper, so odors and residue don't get everywhere in the tack box. Genius!"

"I love this thing! I use it whether it's windy or not. You can put your fly repellent exactly where you need it and rub it into the coat rather than it sitting on top and evaporating (there is lots of evaporation in sunny AZ) The only reason I didn't rate the quality higher is because I barely started using it so I haven't had chance to really test the quality. Would highly recommend."

"I have always known that a lot of spray is wasted with the spray-on fly repellants and have often used a cloth to apply it. The Mitt is far superior to the cloth, especially since no spray gets on my hands. The horses do not seem to mind my "coming at them" with the solution on the Mitt and it lasts longer on the horse than the spray-on."

"I have been using microfiber cloths to apply fly spray. They work well but absorb too much product and don't keep it away from my skin. After using this for a week, I think it is the best thing since sliced bread. The Mitt is right up there with Velcro and Post-Its. Would also be excellent for applying Show Sheen or a liniment/water mixture with a massage at the same time! My horse is so lucky..."

"This makes putting fly spray on, on a windy day very simple. By spraying the mitt and wiping the spray on, I can ensure that it gets exactly where I need it to go. It is also handy if I've already tacked up my horse and realized that I've forgotten to spray. I can still add the spray without worrying about getting it all over my tack. The way the mitt folds back into the bag makes it very easy to store in my grooming bag and I have no worries that dirt and dust will stick to the mitt. Overall a great purchase."

"I have to spray my horse for the overwhelming number of flies that bite my mare. I first spray the mitt, her, and then wipe her down. The spray goes on more completely, and I use less. It also lasts longer on the horse for protection. I like the mitt also because it protects me from the absorption of the spray into my body."

"This is one of those extras that you have to have if you live in a place that is windy most of the time! Instead of most of my flyspray blowing into the wind and not my horses, I spray the mitt directly and wipe my horses down. Then when I'm done it has a built in cover that slips over the mitt to keep it clean. I have one for each horse and on the cover of each mitt I wrote the horse's name with a sharpie :)"

"I love that I can put liniment on using the mitt.. it keeps the liniment off my hands and I can directly apply it to the specific muscle areas on my horse that are sore! With the mitt I can make sure the liniment is going on my horse without wasting any of the product!"

"I don't know about not using as much spray, but the fact that the spray isn't in the air getting on me and in my lungs is appreciated! My horses don't mind the crinkling sound, but some more sensitive horses may need some desensitization. Easy to use and doesn't leave fly spray on your arm either!"

"Great idea. Great product. Allows better application of fly repellants; eliminates overspray and reduces amount of spray used. The plastic liner in the glove does crinkle which took my horses a bit to get used to, but take the time to introduce them to it and this glove makes applying fly spray to ears and faces a breeze -- without getting repellant in eyes or lungs. And the built it cover keeps fly spray off other grooming items; makes the mit very easy to store."
