my mare has been useing this product for almost 2 monthes and i havent noticed much of a difference in her behavior. i even increased the amount she got every day and it still isnt helping to chill her out.

My gelding has been on Confidence Plus products for 3 months now; the first two months we used the ‘powder’ and the last month we tried the liquid. The powder is actually little flower buds and pieces of the herbs. It smells lovely, like chamomile. We changed from powder to liquid because he tended to ‘eat around’ the powder in his morning grain, and then finish his AM and PM dose at evening feed. It seemed like it may be dangerous to get a double dose in the PM, and before dinner when I worked him is when he would benefit the most from the herbs in his system. His ‘picky eating’-highness did not object to the liquid because I mixed the 20mL with 5mL peppermint bran mash as incentive to eat it. It smells like apple cider anyway (I did not detect vinegar like another reviewer did), and he licks his bin clean, even without the peppermint incentive. But I must complain about the delivery system. The squeeze bottle is unreliable. I’ve looked up online how to use this bottle, so I believe I’m operating it correctly—and it doesn’t work right. I took 10 different doses and found a variation of 2-8 mLs per pour, and one time I think the whole bottle would have poured out if I kept it tipped! This could be a very big deal for a smaller horse. I ended up serving up each dose via tablespoon into dressing cups; for fear the whole bottle might leak out when a barn staff was dosing him. Also the bottle leaked a very small amount in shipment. Smartpak put a special tape seal on the bottle, and bagged the whole thing, so the only trouble was rinsing the bottle off. But still, that was likely one of my $1.68-per-day doses. I’ve found a different squeeze measure bottle (google ‘bottle proportioner’) and hope to have fixed my measurement woes. The Confidence Plus formula is worth every cent, and I’d pay more for the pleasure of working with the horse it helps him to be. It’s made him a different horse- a calmer, happier, more confident guy. I love this formula; I cannot say enough positive things about the herbs that go into it. I have had to play around with delivery a bit; but I think I’ve finally got it right. I don’t think we’ll be changing any time soon, unless Confidence Plus comes out with pellets.

Using this on my mare that has ulcer issues. I see alot of change with her. I like this Smells real vinergary she didn't like right away but she started to eat it.

I moved my horse to a new barn in November but months later he still hasn't seemed to settle in. Every little noise, every new thing he sees startles him, plus he is distracted when I ride and during lessons. About 10 days after I put him on Confidence Plus Gold I noticed he seemed less reactive to things and more like his old self. (fourteen days into it he tripped so I had to reduce the dose). Also, I didn't know how he would like the liquid, especially after I opened it and smelled it (vinegar). But I poured his dose in his feed tub, when to get some grain, and saw him actually licking it up BEFORE I had a chance to mix the grain in! Now that's tasty!

I have been using Confidence Plus Gold for about 4 weeks and it has made a huge difference in my OTTB. I have tried so hard training this horse for the past 2 years and just could not keep his attention. Someone suggested using valerian to help with his focus and attention. It took about a week for me to notice anything, but we are now moving forward at a rapid rate. He can still spook and shy (normal stuff) but he is so much more focused on me now. He is relaxed, round and moving through. I highly recommend this product.
