This spray is the only fly spray that actually works (at least works the best!). It's been really rough for my Belgian Warmblood from Europe in the hot summer with lots of flies and I've finally found something that takes the edge off. It smells pretty nice and does last pretty long (though not 14 days... not sure any fly spray could do that!). It's more expensive than the average spray but worth it!

I once believed most fly sprays are created equal, so why spend more on a product that likely works as well as the pricier options? Well, I've tried a variety of flysprays and am definitely convinced Ultrashield is more effective than both Bronco and Piranha varieties. I'm not sure it truly lasts the 17-days which it claims to, but it definitely lasts a week. I do reapply if I've bathed my horse after a hard workout, but I otherwise reapply much less often than with other repellents. Translation: longer-lasting means less use, which increases the value of this product overall.

I used so many fly sprays, and settled on this product years ago. Never regretted it. My horse is often the only one who is not bothered by flies in the field and in the stalls. I sometimes try other 'great products' but never had the same results. I will, for a long long time, keep using only this product.

this fly spray is the best I've ever used...third year of using it...I also use Bug Off regularly, using the ultra shield for really bad fly days during our hot, humid, southern summers....other horses come in from pasture covered with welts from horse flies, but not Bhiza!!!! definitely worth the money!!!

Switched from the cheapo Bronco fly spray to this a year ago, and WOW! So much better! I have to use it a few times a week, primarily on my horse's legs, so the 14-day part isn't true for me. But I don't have to use it several times a day, so it's worth it! Using this with the SmartBug-Off supplement has worked wonders for my horse. The flies are awful here in Florida and really irritate my horse, but with the fly spray and supplement, he's doing great. The rest of the horses in the pasture are all swishing and stomping, but not him. Highly recommend both products!

This fly spray is one of the best I have used. This summer, I noticed my horse was not shooing the flies as in the past. Last summer, it was almost impossible to ride without him kicking, jumping, and being botheredy flies. This spray really works well. I was able to ride comfortably and the flies did not land on him nearly as much. Would definitely use again and recommend to others.

I LOVE this spray!!! I first purchased it when I bought a horse that had serious fly issues ( she hadn't been wormed or sprayed for over a year). Just a warning...I did have to spray it on daily instead of every 14 days like the label claims but other than that it worked great!
I just wish it was cheaper so I could afford to use it on all of my horses. I usually just use Bronco or homemade sprays for regular day to day fly problems.

The label says you can spray just once every two weeks or so, which everyone knows just isn't possible for it to be effective. Over the summer I use this everytime I ride or groom my mare and I find it to be the most effective product I've found.

This is probably the best stuff out there right now.
Works great, the sprayer on the bottle, puts out a very fine mist and covers a large area.
Stays on very well and doesn't make my horse break out in hives, like some of the other fly sprays.

This fly spray works well, and while it is water proof it doesn't cause any problems with my Friesian's sensitive skin. It currently is the main product that I use, and one of the best.
All of the fly sprays advertise 17 days of effectiveness, but I have no idea where they get these numbers. This fly spray is one of the longer acting ones, but I'd give it 48 hours at most. In cooler weather, maybe 72. That is why it didn't get a perfect score.

The best fly spray I've ever used. I don't see results lasting as long as 14 days like it says on the bottle. It is however, the first spray that I've found that lasts all day (and sometimes two)! The added sunscreen and coat conditioners leave the hair nice not greasy. It's a little pricey but it actually works longer than 5 minutes like most others I've tried. Buying in the gallon container does save a few $$.

My horse is boarded at a farm, so he is outside 100% of the time. This summer, he constantly had bumps and sores from bugs. I bought this by recommendation from a friend. It has done WONDERS on my horse's issue with blood sucking gnats, but it doesn't work as well for biting horseflies. I'd say this was a good purchase, but it still didn't quite meet my expectations.
