"I liked the sturdiness of this bag, but it is a little small in my opinion. My horse needs a full 2-3 flakes of hay to stay entertained throughout the day and this bag holds only about a flake and a half. Also, the spill pocket is too small to catch much."

"Perhaps not the most romantic gift ever, but I gave a couple of these to a friend for Xmas and to celebrate her new trailer. She loves them! I had one monogrammed with her horse's name, and the stitching was beautiful. Everything looked great! She was really happy to have these, and I was really happy to find something so useful that was a reasonable price for excellent quality."

"This hay bag is very lightweight and ripped around the hole after 3 short uses. I like the small hole, less hay is wasted. The webbing around the D rings also is becoming frayed and one of the D rings is pulling apart. This would be a great product if it were made stronger."

"Unfortunately, this bag is not well made. With it's first use, some of the seams have pulled out. We have bags made by other manufacturers which we have been using for several years with just slight wear. This bag is not horse user friendly!"

"easy to use hay bags and safe.
I put hay bags into my slant load trailer after one of my younger horses managed to poke both front legs through the triangle shaped feed bags used for slant load trailers! So, for me the only way to feed is with one of these hay bags tied way up high!! These are nice!!"

"This bad looks sturdy enough and I like the idea of these bags, but it doesn't seem to work for my horse. My primary use is for the trailer. The hole for eating is small, and the seam around the edge of the hole has already ripped (one week of use) in my horse's attempts to get to the hay. In addition, the hay must be packed in the bag VERY loosely in order for my horse to get to it in a comfortable way."

"This hay bag is the perfect size for hay in the stall. I bought this because my mare was chowing her hay WAY too fast and I hoped this would slow her down, and it has. It is easy for the grooms to fill, and Margot seems to enjoy it. One day I came in and it was on the ground. I moved it away from the stall door and went to do other things at the barn. When I came back, Margot had started to "redecorate" her stall by putting the hay bag in different places within her stall. I only wish that I could have seen her doing that!"

"I have always kept a hay bag in my horse's stall, to minimize hay wastage. The shape of this bag makes filling easy, and it holds enough to keep him happy while he's in his stall for 8-12 hours. The bag is sturdy enough to last, but not so tough or trappy that he could easily hurt himself with it. I've tried other bags with different shapes and construction, but keep them in my trailer because they just don't work as well in the stall."
