"I have been using Pepi for show grooming for years and I would't think of using anything else! I always keep an extra can just to be safe because you just cannot be without this stuff at a show!! I actually spray it on my finishing brush before brushing my horse instead of directly on the hair in order to keep it from getting too concentrated in one area leaving the hair oily. I tried a silicone-based coat spray *once* many years ago before a showmanship class and realized my mistake when it came time for the riding classes and my saddle kept slipping. Never again! Pepi is a staple in my grooming bag and always will be! Love the smell too, it smells like...horse shows! I recently discovered that it is the best, by far, for brushing through tails and long manes and keeping them de-tangled and shiny throughout the show day. This is the best hair product for blending tail extensions with the real hair and keeping them from getting tangled and grimy."

"Having a Friesian means HAIR!!! Long main, long tail and lots of tangles. I've tried many different products but none measure up to Pepi. I love the way it makes her main and tail look, smell and lay. Especially for show's, you want that something extra to grab the judge's eye, this product will do the trick!"

"I have used ShowSheen, Vetrolin Shine, and many other coat conditioners, but none even compare to Pepi. It comes in an aersol can and I spray it on at a show and brush it into my horse's coat with a finishing brush. It gives an instant sheen and keeps it shiny all day long. I suggest though using either Vetrolin Shine or ShowSheen for daily use because the spray can is more convienent, and it is good for untangling tails, along with Vetrolin Detangler. ShowSheen and Vetrolin are also good if you spray them on right after a bath, while the horse is still wet, to give them even more of a shine."

"well i like this sheen product.
the only thing i didnt like was it leaves a oily
finish on your horses coat and then when they roll. Their coats get 2x as much dirt caked on them becase of the oily mess. the only reason i do kinda like it is that if i groom my mare and then spray her well with this product and blanket her for the night. The next morning she sheds quicker than the rest around the barn."

"Most recently used this at a show for the halter/showmanship classes. Very impresive. The only thing I had an issue with, is since I didn't clip my horse, he was smooth where his blanket was, and his neck was furry. So where his neck was furry with a winter coat, his hair wouldn't kinda stick up strange whever he would move. I've since, invested in an additional neck cover, and no longer have problem with that as long as his coat is laying flat. Smells wonderfull, and adds a brilliant shine and it's very silky. I was most impressed on how it made his mane and tail. It was like the substance you imagine the horse's on the calandars having.
Sometimes, if you spray too close it can get kinda greasy, but a soft towel rubbed over the area, and it would lose the greasy look. I made sure I curried and brushed my horse well before I put his saddle on, and I didn't have an issue with slipping. Overall, a very nice product."

"World Champion Pepi Coat Conditioner leaves my horse's coat MUCH shinier than anything else I have found! It goes on quick and light because of the aerosol spray (makes some horses wary though). It smells really nice and the shine lasts a long time. (Not for use under saddles or in manes you need to grab over big jumps.)"

"World Champion Pepi is great for producing a show-ring shine, but I find it impractical for use at horse shows because it attracts too much dust. If I was prepping for a halter class and wanted my horse to look great in the show ring for just a couple of classes, Pepi would be great! But I need my horses to stay shiney and CLEAN all day long, so I prefer to use Show Sheen or Vetrolin Shine as they seem to repel dust a little better."

"I love this stuff! It is great "finisher" after you have curried / brushed. It take off any dust and gives the horse's coat a nice sheen -- and it smells nice. Spray on a rag first then simply rub the direction of the hair. A can will last quite a long time. I find it better on the body and less so on the tail (regular Show Sheen is still my choice for the tail). You won't be disappointed in this product."

"We've all been there - the cold weather show, can't bathe the horse but he has to look great. Give him a good grooming, spray this on and he will look like he went to a salon. Even when my horse's coat gets a bit dull as he sheds or after I've clipped, this stuff brings back the shine. My horse has allergies to a lot of stuff and this has never bothered him. I use it on mane and tail too even on top of braids or bands to give then a bit extra shine after the quick braid makes them look dull."

"This product is GREAT!!! It works best when you spray it after your horse has been brushed, and then you let it sit for like 3 minutes. Than, wipe your horse down with a damp cloth! THIS WORKS SO GREAT! AND IT SMELLS LIKE HEAVEN!"
