I loved this product before they changed it. It was a crumble, easy to scoop and my horse loved it. NOW it is more of a long pellet, not easy to scoop out and my horse doesn't like it as much. Go back to the old product please!

Happy likes his carrot flavored pellets enough that he's actually eating his cimetidine! Everyone with a gray with melanomas knows what a stress reliever that is.

My picky mare wouldn't touch her supplements at all. Was leaving her grain basically untouched. Added the yummy pellets, and now she can't wait to get her supplements and finishes her completely!

My Fjord has to have Pergolide and Thyro-L powder added to his feed, and he's not allowed to have sweet or high-fat feed. He was leaving a lot of powder in his feed tub until I added the carrot flavored pellets to his SmartPak. Now he's cleaning it up!

My 6 year old QH hunter/jumper gelding had an evulsion fracture to one of the tendons that connect his fetlock and the tendon on the other side of the same joint had a lateral tear. He was in BAD SHAPE! Long story short, he had to be in a cast at the vet clinic for ten weeks. He is still on stall rest, so he only gets one handful of grain with his supplements. He is on Cosequin ASU, which he loves to eat. He is also on Welactin Equine, a liquid Omega3 supplement which he hates. He would eat none of his grain with the liquid on it (and therefore almost none of the expensive supplements!). I purchased his Cosequin ASU in SmartPaks and I thought I would add the "Yummy Pellets" to see if he would eat his grain. Oh boy, now he gobbles up every bit of his grain the second it touches his bucket :) Even though this is not a nutritional supplement, because I pay for this (less than $10 per month), my guy eats his over $100 per month joint supplements! Thanks, SmartPak!

I have tried the Carrot Crumbles for several months. Sometimes they seem to help, sometimes those are what is left in the bottom of the pan, sometimes just some of the other supplements. So while they are somewhat helpful, I think my horse is just too picky day to day to justify their price.
I have found a slash of apple cider vinegar makes him finish up his dinner 98% of the time... for now, at least.

My pony is pretty porky, so when she turned her nose up at just 0.125 of a scoop of Sand Relief, I was surprised! I now have learned she's actually really picky about her food (I call her "food knowledgeable" haha)! I eventually got tired of wasting food and money when she wouldn't finish her grain. Then I found these little things! I didn't expect them to work all that well, since this pony knows EXACTLY what is in her bowl, no matter what you use to cover it up. But...I was getting sick of it, so I thought I'd give the carrot pellets a try...boy was I surprised! She now eats every last bit! The only thing is, the "pellets" look different from the picture. More like bright orange crumbles...but hey, they work awesome, and they've saved me from dumping out wasted food and supplements!

I added Yummy Flavored Pellets to my mare's SmartPak to make her SmartPak supplements more palatable. We top feed the SmartPak supps with her evening grain ration and she gobbles it all up -- doesn't leave anything in her feed bucket. I'm not sure if it's because of the addition of Yummy Pellets, but they are affordable enough to keep including them in my SmarkPak.

My horses on low carb food used to leave food to get back to the pasture. Not any more.. the apple pellets smell funny to me but the picky eaters like them, that is until they found the carrot crumbles. Now if they get apple pellets they wander in pecking order to look for carrot crumbles.

When my vet recommended i should put my horse horse on supplements for her allegies, fly medicine and a calming supplement, i thought he waas crazy. My horse already barely eats her grain. I went to smart pak and saw the treats for picky eaters and decided to try it even though it was probably a waste of my money. Ohh i was wrong. My Arab/Quarter Horse eats all her grain and supplements, i couldn't thank SmartPak enough! Thank you!!!

So, my horse is pretty picky when it comes to eating ground pills in this feed. Bute was always a battle in the past (thank you for the paste!) and now he is on a new drug that requires 24 pills to be crushed each day. I knew that he wouldn't eat those pills over his grain willingly. So, I ordered some of these carrot pellets and I actually took my coffee grinder and took the pills and the carrot pellets and ground them togher. Works like a charm! He eats every last bite!!!

I had a big problem... my Arab would not eat his supplements in his grain. He can't have much grain so it was hard to mask the different things he has to have and I was worried that he wasn't getting what he needs. I called SmartPak and they helped me with adding the Yummy Flavored Pellets to his SmartPak. He now not only eats his supplements, but licks his bucket clean. Thank you so much. If you have a picky eater this is a great way to get them to clean there bucket.

My daughters small pony requires a supplement for her joints, she does not get any grain and was refusing to eat her supplement without a handful of sweet feed added to the supplement.
Even on only ONE handful of feed she was gaining weight, I decided to add the flavored pellets to her SmartPak order hoping it would encourage her to eat the supplement. It has worked very well and now we are not loading her up with sweet feed she does not need!
Great product , great company!

The picky eater pellets are great! Now my ultra-picky aged saddlebred mare cleans up all her feed at feeding time, and is usually asking for more! What a change considering she used to waste almost half of it!
