"My 13 yr old Arabian has lived with stress induced ulcers most of his life, colic was a way of life. Between my Vet and SmartPaks we have the perfect combination with Smart Digest and U-Gard. Even being a picky eater, my Arab cleans up everything, we notice that he is not stretching and grimmacing. "My horse is on massive doses of an antibiotic at this time and it was important to find a pro-biotic that did not contain certain minerals. The customer service folks at SmartPak were very helpful and the Smart Digest is helping to keep the diarrhea at bay...a side affect of large and long term use of antibiotics."

"My 17 yr old Arab gelding has suffered from stomach and gut problems since he was 10. He had the tendancy to get colicky at the drop of a hat from any kind of stress at all. He was also getting very hard to keep weight on. He was always looking sucked in, ribby and hippy, no matter the amount or quality of hay, grain, or pasture. The vet had even helped me set up a diet for his ulcer condition.
Two months ago I started him on SmartDigest and what a difference it has made for him! He looks like a young gun again and is bulking up and holding weight so well that I've been able to cut his feed intake in half!
He's eager to eat and his manure is healthy and apple shaped again! He looks more relaxed and happily greats every visitor in the barn now! Amazing product!"

"My horse was always having bad bowel movements when we went to barrel races. His performance was lacking. I thought it could be ulcers but to treat them it is expensive and he was still eating normally and everything else was fine except his performance so I decided to change his diet and try to help his digestive system. This product seems to have done the trick. It has had a phenomenal affect on him. His bowel movements are back to normal and he feels more comfortable when riding. I am not performing on him yet but he feels great. Thank you so much for a great product."

"I started my 21 yr old aqha gelding on this 3 mths ago. He has a history of extremely lose stool and a few colics as a result. Once I started him on this, his stool looks the best it has in years. I don't worry as much now that he's given this. I would say it's a must try."

"I orderd the SmartDigest for my Paso Fino, who is about to move to a new barn. I was looking for a product to ease him through the transition, and called a Smart Pak adviser for some help. She thought that this would be the right product to help him with the adjustment. So far, it works great! He will be moving from a dirt paddock to grass, so a digestive aid made sense."

"this is a good and inexpensive way to keep your horses insides nice and tidy, I suppose you could say. My horse is older (17) with a number of intestinal difficulties, and is prone to ulcers. This is making a noticeable difference in his eating habits as well as over all comfort and behavior, in a good way. he's also a cribber, so he's prone to colicing (though he's never coliced before, and he does wear a cribbing collar) but giving him this makes me feel a lot safer about him at night."

"I just started one of my horses on this a few weeks ago. He is a pony and tends to have extra liquid with his manure that ends up all over his tail and back legs. He doesn't have diarrhea, just extra liquid. I think it has stopped since putting him on Smart Digest, but I'm not 100% sure because the weather has made it difficult to tell lately (he's covered in mud from head to tail). He eats it right up, but he's not a picky eater so I can't really speak to it's palatability beyond that. I will review again later once I am able to clean him up and then see if there is any new mess."

"This could very well be an excellent product but the fact that I can't get my horse to eat it leaves me a bit disappointed. Because I feed pelleted grain I can't figure out how to get the powder to stick without settling to the bottom of his feed dish and being dumped on the ground when he tips the dish over! I have tried to wet it with water which only makes it stick to the bottom of the bucket and I don't want to add oil as that defeats the purpose. If it were in a pellet, perhaps it would work better for me?"

"I liked that this product has over 10billion CFUs and both pro and prebiotics however, my horses share a different opinion. None of them would touch it. They act like I'm trying to poison them. I even tried mixing in some applesauce. I'll try introducing it more slowly and see if that works. Wish I had tried a sample first before buying."
