"We already had a good balanced program (which begins with a hay & forage analysis). Adequate copper, zinc and protein and a generous serving of flax seed.
Ultra Shine was the final "kick" that took our horses' coats from "nice" and "shiney" to "OMG! What are you feeding them?!".

"I put my three year old thoroughbed mare on this when she cam off the track. She had missing hair and extremely dry and flakey skin even vitamin e wouldn't help. I put her on smartshine ultra and now everyone who comes to the remarks how shiny she is! No more problem skin either. Yeah!!"

"My TB came to me 3 months ago with a very dull coat and pastern dermatitis. I called the vet about supplements for him and she said she rarely recommends specific brands, but this one was particularly great. I've been using it for a month and his coat already looks significantly more smooth, shiny and he just looks healthier overall. The dermatitis hasn't healed completely, but our Oregon winter weather has a lot to do with that and I'm confident that this will aid in keeping it away come summer/next fall. I'll definitely keep using this and look forward to seeing how he looks in another couple months. He doesn't have a problem scarfing it down with his grain either so that's also a plus."

"Over two years ago, my horse developed an allergy to alfalfa after her colic. If she comes into contact with the slightest bit of alfalfa (she can't even eat alfalfa food products!), she will rub herself bleeding raw and has rubbed off half her neck at times. It's horrible to experience. I began this product a year ago, and saw results immediately. Within a month, her skin healed up, and she has not rubbed once since January 2012. This is the first product to really work, and I tried everything since she is a show horse and lesions weren't becoming to the show ring in the in-hand classes.
Now you would never know she has an allergy, even if she does manage to stumble across some alfalfa. I love this product so much, I feed a small dose to most horses on the farm, and have recommended it to so many people with horses with similar problems I can't even count them!
As for palatability, Kahli LOVES her flax seed, and licks her bowl CLEAN. She isn't a picky eater, but she will leave her bowl if it suits her. She hasn't left anything once since I started this supplement. I honestly think she gets a little miffed if I forget to include it!"

"Over summer my horse had an issue with rain rot and her coat was dull and barely soft even when I used conditioner so my trainer said that skin and coat suppliments might help. I've been using this on both my horses for a couple months now and after just a couple weeks the color started to come back and she was noticeably softer. Now that her winter coat is starting to come in she has never looked or felt better! People often walk up and compliment me on how soft and pretty her coat is; I would and do recomend this to Everyone! It works Amazing!<3"
