"These freeze well, and after several uses, come out of the freezer "chunky." I let them thaw a few minutes and then smooth the chunks out. They stay cold for 20-30 minutes even in summer heat and humidity."

"I have used the Ice Horse products for years, but the ice packs could be more durable. After moderate use they start to leak through the small hole that is used to fill them. Maybe rethinking the design would make them hold up better."

"My favorite ice packs--for man or beast. They get really, really cold but still stay soft enough that they mold to the site. As a bonus, the price is right.
I will say that they don't last forever and can tear and leak after a lot of stress. But I've never had one die before working great for many, many uses."

"What a concept.....inexpensive replacements!! No need to buy the entire thing again because one part broke/got lost/stolen! More equine products should follow suit! I keep an extra pair on hand in the event I need to swap out packs for more horses. At this price you can have several extra on hand!!"
