"We have two elderly dogs, Teddy is 12 y/o and Stranger is 11 y/o. Both suffering from arthritis hips and shoulders. Stranger has a herination and had a hard time walking. I gave them their 3rd shot this week and see so much improvement. Now they are running and wanting to play again after so long of just lying around. It is expensive but well worth the cost.
If you have a dog with any issues like many others

"I am giving this to both of my dogs, one is an older Lab (around 12) and she has all over arthritis and my younger Lab (around 6 or 7) has just been diagnosed with elbow dysplasia and both of them have shown a big improvement. I am still on the loading dosing (giving it once a week) so I don't know how long I will be able to space out the injections eventually, but I am thrilled so far. :) The orthopedic surgeon I took my dog to said it can be given SQ (injecting under the skin) and there's no significant difference from giving it IM (in the muscle) so this makes it SO much easier to inject.
I am also giving it to both of my horses and I am seeing a big improvement with them too. Pretty expensive for me right now, but my babies are worth it!"

"My dog Teddy would not be alive without this drug. He is 13 years old and has bad arthritis in his neck. He was unable to walk and nothing seemed to help. As a last resort, the vet recommended Adequan. It is not cheap, but after a few days, he was able to walk again."

"We have an 8 year old German Shepherd that has bad Arthritis in her spine and hip dysphasia. She has been on tramadol every 12 hours and Generic Rimadyl daily. She moans quite a bit when ever lying down. We decided to try AdequonCanine shots for the 4 weeks.
I believe it may have made a little difference. Definately not real sure. But if it helps her some it is worth trying for a while. She is fairly active and plays with the other dog during the day. She is walked most days. Believe she has lived with this pain for quite sometime as we have no history on her. We got her before being put down in Las Vegas in 2004 when a shelter closed. I read where it sounded like a miracle drug. Not in this case."

"I have a million year old black lab with arthritis in his hips. My vet prescribed adequan and I originally purchased it through the vet office. It's much more affordable to purchase through SmartPak though. I'm quite pleased with the product - he has a hard time running, going up stairs, and sometimes standing up - the adequan vastly improves his quality of life."

"our dog Kasha we were told by the vet has the worst case of hip dysplaysia in a dog so young. We needed help & fast, at the age of 3 1/2 she was limping badly, could hardly walk....she had stepped on a burr & then hurt herself as she was trying to run up some stairs...things weren't looking to good! We started her on the adequan shots, along with an exercise program and she is doing absolutely fine once again. No more limping, she now wants to run & jog during her walks..."

"My lab has been on this for years and I really think it makes a difference in his overall comfort. I give it to him monthly. I can tell he gets just a bit stiff towards the end of the month before his shot. It's expensive, which is my only complaint, but I think it's worth it to keep him feeling his best!"

"This product added 2 to 3 good years to my 14 year old lab's life. After her hip surgery, the vet added this to her deramaxx and supplement regimen. I saw results in her almost immediately. Pax's prescription had me administering it once every 7 days, and my family could always tell when she was getting close to needing a shot. I actually think she had an extra spring in her step the first 3 or 4 days after an injection. This product may be costly, but it is worth every penny. I plan on using it with my other labs (if needed) in their senior years."

"I have a 12 y/o Golden Ret with arthritis in his hips. We have all wood floors and he had difficulty even getting up from lying down, not to mention the stairs. Started using the Adequan about 4 months ago and after the loading dose, I noticed he was more willing to get up, go outside and even follow me up the stairs. I had him on long term NSAIDS but now with the Adequan, he doesn't need them as often! Wonderful product and worth the money, just wish it wasn't so expensive..."

"I began using Adequan Canine as a last resort for my dog that was diagnosed with severe arthritis. He’s been on a NSAID (Deramaxx) for a few months and is doing well, but we are tying to lower the dose as much as possible due to unrelated liver problems. He has been receiving weekly adequan injections for only a month now and we are already seeing an improvement in his mobility! He’s playing ball, going for walks and running around with his “sister” like a puppy. This product is expensive but worth every penny!"

"After 2 years of successful use of the equine version of the product, I decided to try this on my 13 year old Lab who was starting to have trouble getting up. .
