"I love the colors and the ability to customize your lead, but the snap rusts very quickly. I have only had the lead for the past few months and I can barley open and close it due to rusting. The lead is never left outside in the rain. My horse is stall boarded. When I hose him off I take of the lead when I was able to. Now I'm not able to remove the lead. My matching Big D halter is having similar problems. I won't be buying anymore Big D products."

"I have had this lead rope for some time. I use it on my pony with the chain, and it is so much nicer than having to attach and un-attach the stud chain. The colors are nice, but I would have to say that the teal is a little to green for my taste. But that is just my opinion!"

"My barn requires every horse owner to have their halter and lead rope in barn colors. Unfortunately this is not always economical. I am so happy that SmartPak is now carrying the Big D Custom Nylon Braided Lead. You just can not beat the price on this lead. I have never before have I found custom lead for under $30.00! These leads are very durable and mine has already lasted me well over 3 years. I have the lead with the 30” chain and there is not a speck of rust on it."
