The colors are very pretty. Looks great on my Doberman. Very soft, warm and fairly thick quality material. The fit was perfect. Unfortunately it got a slight tear from playing with my other dog otherwise I would have given it 5 stars for durability.
My SmartPak Thinsulate dog coat on the other hand has survived 2 years of rough play and was an excellent buy. It definitely was and still is a bargain!

Thanks to a clearance sale, and the deal on BarnBuddies shipping and embroidery, I got this lovely blanket for my dog for a whooping $10! It's a nice weight for winter in Virginia, and we've gotten a lot of compliments on it while out on walks and while hiking. And best of all it's not too "froofy" for my boyfriend to mind walking the dog wearing it either--he thinks it looks classy rather than like a dressed up costume, so I can actually get him to put it on the dog when it gets cold! It does seem to run a bit small thought--I got a Medium for my Rat Terrier mix, and it seems a smidge short in the back end, but not unwearably so. When in doubt, order bigger!

I kept seeing this coat on the website and thought it was the Horseware one, which just didn't fit my dogs. I was thrilled when I realized that this was actually a SmartPak brand product, as we've had great success with their dog coats on a wide variety of breeds and body types (Dobies, Belgians, GSDs, BCs, Pugs). They're kind of a magic fit, the quality is amazing, they launder well and last for many, many years.
This coat seemed a *tiny* bit less plush than the other SmartPak fleece coats, but the fit was the same, and the Velcro the same tough stuff.
Highly recommended.

I really like this coat, it's cute and warm. One strap did come loose in just a week or two, but it is being replaced and I have high hopes that it was just a fluke and that the new one will last a long time!

I bought this coat for my 60 lb. English Springer Spaniel, Emma. Rec'd it yesterday and LOVE it! The colors go great with her liver and white coloring. I've always loved the look of the Newmarket line. I decided to get the dog coat for my Airedale to wear during the Reindeer Run. He looked stunning in it, it fit well (he's a little bigger than the average Airedale, so, I was pleased), but not even halfway though the run/walk the front velcro ripped and I had to take it off him. I know he was pulling on his leash, but, the coat should have been more durable than that. Makes me wonder how their products would stand up to a 1000 pound horse.

This coat and others made by smartpak give my dog the best fit ever. I have tried others but none compares with the fit on this dog coat. An excellent product. I can't really comment on the durability as the coat is relatively new but from what I can observe, It appears to be very durable.

This is a lovely coat - and works nicely as an outer layer or a second layer for those really cold days or when you want to throw a rain sheet over it.
I'm not sure what Danes that I read about were wearing it though. My dog is about 110 lbs and looks like a giant pointer so I bought the biggest size available but it's still a bit short (like mini-skirt short) but I can certainly still use it and it doens't change my thoughts on how nice it is. I'd definitely recommend it. I wish I could have gotten a blue one!

Beautiful dog coat, soft thick fabric, rich pretty colors, and fit my 50 lb, 23" short-haired Catahoula mix puppy perfectly in XXL, having measured according to directions. He looked flippin' adorable in it. Unfortunately I left it on him unattended in the back yard for a while, and he promptly chewed his way out of it. (I thought he was bound to be cold with his short single coat, compared to my other two double-coated dogs... guess I thought wrong.) Well, perhaps I'll get out my sewing machine and repair the straps, and give it another try when the weather turns *really* cold!

So I grant you, I ordered this for a very small dog (12lb), but it was clear that the person who assembled this blanket had put more emphasis on symmetry than on color, meaning the rug has two perfectly placed black stripes, the rest yellow, and all the trim and staps also black. The red had obviously been cut off the center of the back and along the bottom (they are just visible within the stitching). Personally I would much rather have sacrificed some of this symmetry to preserve, hello!, the Newmarket pattern. It looks a little odd, but is well made and is warm and cozy, just right for after a bath. The fit is adjustable enough to work on my retangular shaped dog, just a little long in front. I specifically like the V-shape of the neck that doesn't come up as high as the Rambo version. I took advantage of the free monogramming, or I probably would exchange and try my luck with another one. I wouldn't hesitate to order for my larger dog.
