"I've used this on two horses. My younger mare had a slight clicking in her hock. Though there was no clear sign of lameness or discomfort, I was still bothered by this. The clicking went away after using Hyalun. My older (19) gelding has some discomfort in his ankle which was previously managed with regular joint supplements. My vet suggested trying this before going with more expensive injections, and it's worked well to make him comfortable in conjunction with the supplements.

The directions are a bit confusing though when it comes to dosing. I've found that it's best to give it three days in a row at 10 cc's whenever the horse needs it. For a younger horse, it may be months in between, while an older/more uncomfortable horse may need it more often. After the initial loading (3 days of 3 separate 10cc doses) period, my horses have done well with a single 10 cc dose every few weeks. Obviously though, talk to your vet and listen to your horse for best results."

"My mare works hard, we compete in Eventing, so between training for three different events and conditioning for fitness, I put a lot of wear and tear on her joints. I added Hyalun Gel to her supplement program a few days before her last event and what a difference! That extra bounce in her step gave us the edge in the dressage ring, she felt comfortable and confident in all three phases. So happy to get her more comfortable!"
