"I have two small dogs and my vet recommended feeding them Blue Buffalo or Wellness (he said both are comparable). My dogs definitely like the taste of Wellness better. I got it in the PortionPaks for a month and so far so good. It is so great because my dogs get fed by a different person on a day to day basis and this way we all know we are giving them the same vet recommended amount. Ordering in the PortionPaks was more expensive though. My dogs get 1 cup and 1/2 a cup a day so I think the customer care representative calculated it to be about $25 more a month + shipping."

"I have two Japnese chins, one older, who have a hard time eating regular size kibble. This is perfect and has all the nutrients in the more expensive healthier brands but is easier for them to eat...I also love how my dogs coat looks after starting them on this...and I'm soooooooooooo happy that I can get it on SmartPak and have it delivered rather than drive to the pet store..."

"The Wellness Small Breed Super 5 Mix has been "my saving grace", delivered to my door in pre-measured meal packages. My dog weighs 4 lbs full grown and the Vet has said that she is "the perfect weight for her size". This is especially important to me because I have to be concerned about her 'luxating patella' common in small dogs and can be exacerbated if the dog becomes overweight. Also, my dog eats a total of 1/4 cup a day. Pet stores sell small packages, however - by the time my dog eats through half of their "smallest" package... it is stale and uninviting, no matter how air tight it is packaged, not to mention feeding to the end could be rancid. Leaving feeding instructions for family members, or sitters, or travel.... is effortless! Smart Pak has put me on the perfect measure and perfect delivery schedule timed so that I never have to worry about supply for the one tiny thing in my life that gives me the most joy.... MY DOG!"

"I have two small dogs who have been eating this product since I rescued them 6 years ago. They never leave the bowl until all bits are gone. These are dogs aged approximately 4 and 7 years, respectively. Their physical and personality characteristics are tops! They are small enough that the larger bites took some effort to chew and these little bites are much appreciated. I think the price is a bit high just because the bites are smaller?"

"This the best food ever for my pack of tiny pomeranians:) It is not easy finding a high end, easily digestible, nutrient dense small kibble (important when feeding toy breed portions) that is Canola Oil Free (causes digestive upset in many little dogs, yet contained in most top end brands!) however, Wellness has done it with Super5Mix for small breeds!"

"Our Beagle Molly seems to want to eat everything, all the time, but with the food, already pkged in the right amount that she needs, last visit to the vet, she has lost her extra weight.
Our Maltese, Bailey loves the food too, and is staying the weight she should be.

"I have a 16 year old Jack Russell who is very fussy about her food. I was totally surprised at how small the food was. Probably well suited for a Yorkie, but my Jack Russell hasn't eaten as well. I am going to assume that it is easier for her to chew. I also realize she needs a bigger smartpak since she is eating so well and looking for more."

"I have 3 of my dogs on this food and they love it! The bites are very small which is very easy for them to eat. They are only 5, 6.7, and 8lbs. They were eating bigger kibble before and it was a little difficult for them. They scarf it down and seem to really enjoy it. Stool is perfect too, no stomach issues. They seem happy, healthy, and energetic! It has been 2 months and I don't plan on changing for a while."

"Our fussy eater seems to like this food better than most we have tried. Seems that the healthier the food, the less she likes it. I think that the small pieces help, since she's only a 12lb dog and she seems to like the taste. We need her to eat pretty quickly because our lab watches her like a hawk and will eat her food the moment she turns her head. We try and monitor the situation but too often the overweight lab gets the terrier's dinner."

"I've been trying to wean our Silky Terrier off of canned foods for quite a while and it hasn't been the most successful process - until now. She is very picky when it comes to dog food and everything we've tried she'll eat for a day or two then lose interest. She seems to really like Wellness Small Breed Super5Mix Adult Health though and has been eating it for several weeks now! I do still have to mix in a bit of canned food, but I'm finally making progress! I love that it has Omega Fatty Acids for her sensitive skin too. The small kibble is great and I may switch to the SmartPak portion paks soon too now that they're available. She's so little - every bit counts and portion control is critical!"
