"My gelding has some mild arthritis in his hocks. He is also insulin resistant, so I am hesitant about using joint products containing glucosamine. I have used MSM with much success, but I wanted something to use regularly that was legal during endurance competition (MSM is not allowed under AERC rules and requires a 96 hour withdrawal period before competitions). So after much comparing different HA products, I settled on this one. I definitely noticed a difference after he was on it for about two weeks. However, since winter is coming on, and my feed room is not heated, I have opted to switch him over to a powdered HA supplement. My horse is an extremely picky eater, but he scarfed this gel down with just a tiny bit of head nodding the first day. After that he did not seem to even notice it."

"I have a 12 year old 17.2 hand Holsteiner (2nd-3rd level dressage) that has a right hock and stifle that get very stiff. I have used many different oral joint supplements, in the past and had done IV Legend regularly. Unfortunately, this horse has a nasty allergic reaction to Adequan, so that is not an option for him (usually my go-to in a case like this).
I was introduced to this product by our barn manager, who had also managed Grand Prix jumpers, and it is by far the best I've ever used. Before SmartPak carried it, I was ordering it directly from the manufacturer. I would be a bit late on my order and would run out. Within a week I would notice that he was not as comfortable in his work. I am SO happy SmartPak is now carrying it so I never run out again!
I've also found that keeping him on the Hyaluronex has greatly extended the life of his joint injections. The stifle used to be an every six month requirement, now I can go for a year or more before I inject.
I would DEFINITELY recommend this product - it is well worth the price!!"

"Used on a 4 year old OTTB who has some hock issues. Vet recommended trying this before we decided to inject those hocks. Used this along with consistent exercise and his soundness has improved 100%. We have avoided getting his hocks injected for now. Pricey but cost less than the procedure."

"My horse has inflammation in the back leg and it looks like it could be arthritis. She was noticably limping at a trot, less at a walk. I have used this product for a couple of weeks and have noticed an improvement. It is easy to administer and the horse has no problem consuming it with its food. I think it is worth a try and is not too expensive and harmful to the animal."

"My sport morgan threw his back out last year and had some fluid in his stifles. My vet strongly recommended this product to me. Not only is my horse back to driving but he is going better then ever. "So far I have used this product for 2 weeks. I have noticed a change in both my older horses. I had them previously on Dumore Joint Suppliment for years. I have 2 older horses; one is 19 and the other 18 and both are still working. We do Western Pleasure and trail riding (mental relaxation) and so far this product has my vote!!! I used the tube doseage for the 1st week on my 19 year old as he was at fair, and there was a noticable difference already. I like the option for the tube if you travel, and it works great. SO far my horses have no problems eating it, and lick the bowl clean!!!"

"It's probably too soon to see if this liquid will help with his joints. I haven't noticed any difference, but it's been less than a month. I also received smart pak samples of other supplements, which he also enjoyed. I probably will pick out one of the other samples and stick with that, which seems easier to dispense every morning."

"My vet recommended this supplement after my OTTB had surgery. He has remained sound and has not had any follow up problems. He gets one squirt of this liquid in his feed once a day. The half gallon lasts quite a long time, approximately 6 months. Although my horse is a picky eater, I don't even think he notices this is in his feed. I highly recommend this product."

"We have Reining horses and our Reiners range in age from our 2 year old at the the trainer up to our daughters aged 13 year old gelding. With this product, our horses perform happily and with no evidence (short striding, balkiness, etc.) of discomfort. Their joints take a beating with the level of performance we ask of them but we feel that with this product we are maintaining a high level of performance consistently."

"I admit to being a skeptic about using oral joint support for a major problem but my rescued OTTB had been injected so many times (and was suffering the consiquances) I thought it was worth a try as it sure beat the other option of putting him down- he was so lame up front and unable to really walk he was over loading his hind legs and got to a point where he was stall bound to avoid him not getting to the water...well I am THRILLED to report that after a month of triple dosing he is SOUND!! I am riding him and he is very happy. There is still a limit to the range of motion in his front ankles but the extreme stiffness is gone and he is happily W/T/C in the ring and enjoying the trails!!"
