I started these a month before my riding vacation in the Rockies. I had no problem with the altitude, and I was comfortable riding 2 to 3 hours on rather hard, steep trails. I do think they helped this 66 yr. old enjoy the rides!

I just ordered 2 more of these jars so I don't run out. I suffer from Ulcerative Colitis (similar to Crohn's disease) and joint pain has taken over most of my body. I have tried numerous medications and other supplements without much improvement. I had used this product before on a horse & saw wonderful results for him, so I thought time for me to try it. It helps tremendously & also with my immune system (most UC meds tend to limit immune function) so this helps me stay healthy & continue to work while I can. Helps with my UC flares too. Thanks to Smart Pak for offering the human form too!

I had decided to try Recovery Extra Strength for my shoulder when I put my horse on Recovery EQ. I took it for about 5 months, seemed to be working and then I deployed and did not bring any with me. Well it took about less than a month for me to realize how much it had been helping. As soon as I started have pain in my shoulder again I ordered (and thank goodness SmartPak ships to APO AE addresses). I will never leave home without my Recovery again.

I was going through a difficult time in my life, and my immune system seemed to be collapsing. I came down with serial UTIs, cold sores, and laryngitis - things I just never experienced in such short succession before. Previously I would get a cold sore every few years and I now had four in less than two months!! My daughter sent me Recovery Extra Strength and when I received them, I was in the beginning of another cold sore. I took four capsules in the morning and another four at night and the cold sore was actually arrested!! It never fully reached the blister stage and got no where near the ulster or crusting stages! No cold sore for my daughter's wedding! I now take two capsules twice a day, and have not had a UTI, cold sore, laryngitis or even an ordinary cold since. I am forever grateful!!

Long after I'd given up on supplements that did nothing for me, I bought Recovery based on my aging QH's amazing response to the equine version. The label indicates that the product is helpful for arthritis and boosts the immune system. I have gotten some relief for my aching fingers, but the biggest, most notable effect has been the improvement in my immune system response to infection! While all around me are down with whatever the latest virus or bacterial nastiness might be, I just increase my dose of Recovery and glide by with only the slightest sniffle for a day at most. Almost unheard-of for an older post-chemo body like mine. Recovery will be in my arsenal from now on.
