I don't like brass so much, so I was happy to find this lead in silver (I have the matching black and white halter with silver finish, which I absolutely love). My only two complaints are: as others have mentioned, its not straight, but that doesn't bother me too much. The other complaint is that the chain is SO long. I guess it's better than it being too short, but I don't use it all that much, and I hate holding the chain when bringing in, so I have to hold like two feet down on the lead because of the chain's excessive length. Two minor things, definitely wouldn't deter me from buying the set again!

Bought this to match the padded engraved halter for our new warmblood - quality leather, classic appearance and well stitched/crafted. My wife, who's into silver/nickel, liked that finish option for the chain.

Lovely quality but would have been perfect if it would have been coiled while in the warehouse because it is still not straight. Have had hanging for two months.

The padded leather lead/w chain is an excellent value. I took my horse to the State Fair to show her. I bought both the halter and lead. The lead is wonderful, except I found it hard to hold because it was a little too thick. Other than that, it's beautiful.
