"Button fell off right out of the suit bag when I went to try it on. Cheap plastic buttons that are not attached well at all. The fabric is coarser than I prefer and is not of traditional suiting material. I will say though that of the many coats I did try this is the only one that was true to size and I am an off the rack fit. I normally wear a 10 and a 10 fit. Unlike RJ Classics wear I have an 8reg in a hunt, 10 in a shad and a 4 reg in a dressage. Go figure!"

"This coat is nice quality and color. However it was very boxy on me. I'm 5'7" and weigh 130 pounds, and was swimming in the size 10, and the size 8 was boxy, not that classic silouette fit I was looking for. The search goes on..."

"Bought this jacket for my first dressage show and did not want a hot wool coat and wanted something that could be machine washed, so I landed on this coat. I was worried about being restricted in a coat, but I never felt restricted in it and I love the red lining! I have yet to wash it so I don't know how it will wash up, but for the prcie, so far it is a great coat!"

"Finally a jacket that comes in larger sizes but doesn't assume all plus size women are super well endowed. Generally, this jacket was nicley proportioned. The fabric stretch is great. I like the mesh partial lining for the AZ heat. I did have to have some alterations done - sleeves were too long and wide and a bit wide. Overall very happy and looking forward to wearing at my next show."

"I just got this coat. Although I have not ridden and showed in it yet, I was surprised that it fit so well. It gave room to move and looks great. I do agree with people about the buttons. They seem loose enough to fall off but that doesn't seem to be a big issue. Other wise I am so glad to have found this coat."

"They thought of everything. The fabric is high quality and stretches with movement, which allows for a well fitted jacket. The mesh lining in the upper part makes it bearable south of the Mason-Dixon line and the red lining on the lower portion is attractive when riding. Buttons are nicely designed and in just the right places. Jacket is not overly long so drops at the right level while in the saddle. I tried on about 15 jackets and am thrilled to have found this one. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Take your measurements and use their chart. It's accurate."

"I have tried several dressage coats and just never found the right fit and when I heard about the eventer frock I was excited as it seemed to have the look of a dressage coat but cut a bit shorter (which is helpful as I am only 5'3). This is cut pretty true to size although I did go one size up to feel like I had a bit more movement for when I jump. I love the material! I do agree with other reviews about the buttons being a little insecure but that is easily fixed! I wore this coat recently when it was 88 degrees and I didnt feel nearly as hot as I had in previous coats! Super coat at a reasonable price!"
