"This girth would be great except for the fact that the billet keepers don't actually hold the billets flat. The girth is functional but just does not look professional enough for the show ring."

"I purchased a Toulouse monoflap saddle on Ebay after reading reviews for this saddle on Smartpak. Since we needed a monoflap type girth, I went to Smartpak for the purchase. Not ever having used this type of girth before, I was unable to figure out what size to buy for a horse that normally takes a 48" english girth. With the help of Smartpak"s free shipping both ways, I was able to order three different sizes and then return the two that didn't fit. The girth is excellent quality and of course matches the saddle perfectly."

"I recently bought this girth with the Marcel Toulouse Marielle saddle. The girth is awesome! Though I would buy a size smaller. My OTTB goes in a 44" with a regular saddle, but te 24" monoflap girth is a bit big. Loved it!"

"I bought this girth for a monoflap event saddle. The girth I had been using on my horse seemed to be irritating him, so I began researching girths that would suit this type of saddle. SmartPak Customer Service was extremely helpful in answering my questions about this girth. I did buy it and because of the soft padded edges, my horse seems much happier and more comfortable. It is well made and I think the price was very reasonable for the quality."

"Excellent craftmanship, gorgeous leather. Could give a little more protection around the buckles and the billet keepers could be positioned better-my billets keep getting stuck when inserting between the keeper and the top layer of leather on the body of the girth. Overall a beautiful girth and good value for the money."

"With the flurry of eventing monoflap saddles in brown, it's amazing how hard it is to find a good quality, strong, brown short girth. I bought the smallest size (22") and wish they'd sold a 20" for my skinny thoroughbred. For the price, this is a very well made solid girth that I have no worries galloping cross country with - a rare find, especially in brown!"

"Matches the monoflap perfectly, but because the billets are SO LONG on the saddle, I have to use a 16' girth, luckily someone else needed a 22."
