Genuine patented Aurigan bits are manufactured only by Herm Sprenger. Aurigan is a perfect mixture of materials?(85% copper, 4% silicon and 11%?zinc).?Aurigan has high oxidation properties and provides a pleasant taste to encourage chewing activity and?easy acceptance of the bit. The ergonomically formed mouthpiece lies perfectly in the horses mouth resulting in soft and even pressure on the entire tongue area. In addition, the curvature in the mouthpiece becomes a stronger signal than a KK Ultra when it is activated as the curve becomes active, allowing clear pressure on the tongue. "This bit completely changed my 4 y/o OTTB's way of going! I felt a huge difference even during the first ride with this bit (I use it for dressage), my horse was far more soft and supple than he ever had been before and was accepting the bit beautifully! This bit is worth every penny and I couldn't recommend it enough!"

"I buy only Herm Sprenger bits for my horses. They are durable and last forever. My horses seem to accept the KK bits better than other bits. I purchased this bit for a horse who goes best in a single jointed snaffle, but didn't seem to care for the Herm Sprenger Turnado. This shaped snaffle fits the bill. My horse prefers this more traditional single jointed snaffle to the Turnado. I could not be happier with my purchase."
