The rider can modify the width of the tree using any of our interchangeable gullet plates with only a screwdriver. This system does not change the integrity or look of the saddle. "I have always had to add special padding under the withers to make saddles fit my mare. With the gullet plates, I can fit the saddle to the horse and not have to do any special padding. Gullet plates are not interchangeable between jumping saddle and dressage saddle though."
